I not only volunteer here photographing the dogs, but I adopted my own dog here. The staff are all amazing, extremely helpful, and care very much. The dogs are so sweet and I wish I could take them all home.
2nd update: this cat is so awesome. I think the staff at the shelter wanted to keep it that's why they made fun of it. Somebody probably wanted it but already reached there limit. I love this dude he is so kewl Update: I did go back and adopt one of the cats they claim was "Spicy". They seemed to be addressing my complaint. 1 problem Even after I told the staff I would adopt. A female animal control said in a nasty voice "this one is bi-polar". I was going to remove the negative review . Not after this officers comment. The rest of the staff was professional. I was told it's unknown who the owner was. I lied down with this cat he crawled right up on my chest. See my YouTube if you don't believe me. If u want to see his progress. The staff terrorizes the animals I was appalled at what I saw. They try to stuff the cats into a box half their size with a sliding glass trap door. They then blame the animal and call it "spicy". The entire staff needs retrained or replaced. They told me multiple cats were "spicy" how you feel on the inside is how you feel on the outside. Of course the cat is not gonna like you if you've made up your mind it's spicy. The staff could not get one cat out for us to spend time with. I'm gonna go back and save a cat from that horrible environment. The cats are not the problem it's the staff.
Great choice of dogs & the absolute nicest staff! Judith (Judy) & William were the best. We had to meet the pups in the break room due to weather & Judy brought in one dog after another. She said I could meet dogs all day if necessary. Well, it wasn’t necessary. William pulled “Bumblebee “ and now we’re going to live happily ever after. FYI, this location has a dog virus. Your dog may be on medicine or need medicine. Easy enough, I was well informed.
Awesome services! Look at the cutie that I just adopted! The last picture is him in his cage at Orange County Animal Services on Conroy, I had to wait to make sure that his owner didn’t claim him. $40 is all it cost me NOT $50 or $55. Mister Yogi already had his shots & was neutered. They gave him his rabies shot the day I picked him up.
We adopted coco and she’s so loving and well trained such a great addition to our family
