With a heavy and an angry heart, I’m writing this because we took our dog in on 4/27 at 2 pm for a hurt front paw or leg! She was her typical self and had regular energy , She only had a limp . This was not a constant pain it would come and go . She had no injury what so ever! We were puzzled ! Since she was an older Rottie and lil over weight we were thinking to arthritis. So the vet mentioned X-rays along with an arthritis supplement, a pain shot to get her jump started on relieving her and then we would start her the next day on Gilliprant 100mg once a day! Over the course of time Sat 4/27 to Monday 4/30 at 1 am she was pooping blood all over our house and by 7 am she had a constant drip of blood coming out of her butt! We got her in and the vet said she was extremely critical with fluid in her abdomen (blood) and her spleen bursted and we needed to make a decision All this is very disturbing and troubling since her only problem was a limping front paw

I really hate to write this review, because the staff were absolutely excellent when I brought my kitten to get a checkup. The lady at the front desk was very nice and informative, as was the vet tech. Unfortunately I can not say the same for the actual veterinarian. I recognize and understand that in any medical profession it can get extremely busy, and I know that sometimes even doctors have bad days, but I do feel the need that something needs to be said. The vet came in the room and firstly didn’t introduce himself and barely acknowledged me, and it seemed from the moment he stepped in the room he wanted to get out. I had videos to show the vet depicting the cough my kitten was exhibiting, which he listened to for about 2.5 seconds and then moved right along (I can give the benefit of the doubt on this one, maybe he was able to tell exactly what it was that quickly, but it just seemed that he was trying to rush). Then of course, I had questions, which almost seemed like it annoyed him. Maybe my questions seemed dumb to him, but I didn’t go through years of veterinary education and training. My questions got what seemed to be an irritated monotonous response, with the vibe of “okay now can we wrap this up?”. The entire visit was maybe 2 minutes. I left there with a vague idea of what my pet had, and he never explained the administration of the medications to me (left it all to the vet tech, but didn’t acknowledge that she would explain them). Now there is a good chance that this vet knows his medical knowledge very good and gave excellent treatment, HOWEVER, how am I to know this and trust in someone who seemed like all they wanted to do was go home? The vet tech was the one answering most of my questions after the vet already left the room and actually showing patience and genuine care. Honestly, it was so rushed I left not even knowing if what my cat had was a bacterial infection or a virus. The woman at the front desk was 100x more informative and helpful than the vet was. She explained everything so well and is the only reason I somewhat have confidence in the care my animal received. I just hope that the diagnosis and treatment he gave was correct and that my baby gets better soon, but it is unfair and terrible that I have to feel ANY doubts after doing the right thing and bringing her in as soon as possible. I hope that either this is just out of character for this vet, or that he takes these words into consideration and does better for his other patients. I sincerely apologize to the front desk ladies and other staff for this bad review, but I firmly believe health is not something to be taken lightly and that there is a higher standard that needs to be upheld in any place that provides healthcare.

With my wife scheduled to be induced within the next 24 hours one of our dogs ended up getting a skin infection. Another animal hospital decided to not honor my appointment sending me into a panic. I was able to get a last minute appointment scheduled at Pavillion and words can’t describe how great they were!!! They put me at ease and we will be able to focus on bringing our boy into the world knowing our first fur baby has been taking care of!

If you enjoy being price gouged and lied to about the price you’ll pay every time you come in, bring your dog here. I swear I always ask how much it will be for the next visit based on what needs to be done and the price I’m told ALWAYS increases after the vet has finished and it’s time to pay. It’s immoral and wrong to take advantage of others in this manner cause it leaves us with no choice but to pay the increase.

The doctor seems more concerned with making money by forcing surgery over the animal's well being. Also, he doesn't seem very informed and is not thorough. He also seemed afraid to approach my dog simply because of his breed. My dog is a gentle boy. I took my dog for a second opinion and saved $1,000 on the procedure. The new vet cared more about my dog than making the most money she could. If I could give zero stars, I would. PLEASE, IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR PET, GO ELSEWHERE!
