I love this veterinary clinic, and my cats and dog ADORE the doctors and staff! I rescued all of my pets from abusive situations, and the staff all recognize their individual needs and fears and work incredibly well with each of them. "The Kids" have had appointments with each of the doctors and we've worked with all of the nursing staff as well as the receptionists/billing reps, and they're ALL wonderfully friendly, loving, caring, considerate, and SUPREMELY professional. They know all of us, and my pets love all the attention they get when we visit. There's no other veterinary clinic I'll ever use; I trust them implicitly and recommend them 100%! I used to love this place and the Vet that we see there is fantastic. What's going to keep me from returning is the customer service I received from their staff, including the manager. I had received a quote for my dogs dental. They gave me a low end and a high end incase they needed to do more work that couldn't be seen. Perfect! It took a couple months to save up the money as it's very expensive. It was $1700 for the high end. I got the money together and in just under 90-days I called to schedule the appointment. I made sure first that the quote was still good with the $1700 on the high end. I had bloodwork done on the original appointment 90 days ago so I wanted them to check to make sure he didn't need the blood work repeated. The receptionist put me on hold to go ask the techs in the back. She came back to me stating that my quote was still good and the bloodwork was fine so no worries. When I came in to drop off my dog, I was given a bill up front that was $500 MORE than the highest quote I received. Why? They tacked on repeat bloodwork and vaccines. When I informed the front desk this wasn't correct, I verified all of this PRIOR to scheduling this appointment, they had the tech come out and speak to me. The tech informed me that no, the dog needed repeat bloodwork because it had been 90-days and he needed updated vaccines. When I explained I called and checked on all this before I brought my dog in the tech was very short and snippy. Nobody had an answer for me. Because I didn't have $2200, I had to leave with my dog and he did not have his dental work. In calling back to speak with a manager about the situation she basically apologized for the way I was spoken to but my concern was completely dismissed. Anytime they give a quote to do ANYTHING, it should include everything that would need to be paid for. Instead she says "that's why we show it to you right before the procedure so you can make a decision." What? What is the purpose of the quote then? They don't care about you OR your pet. All they care about is the $$$$. Not that they will care but my animals will never go back here.
Honestly this is one of the best veterinary offices we have experienced. The front desk staff is compassionate, timely, and savvy with scheduling. Their team of vets always seem to be professional and truly care for the pet their examining. Theyâve always done a great job with educating us, providing after care, and even just general grooming help. So I think this is more of a Thank you than a positive review! Willow and Tom appreciate all that you guys do ⨠Keep up the great work!
We love Pet First! We have 2 giant dogs and 2 cats. Never had a bad experience there in 5 years. They are most affordable around and can almost always squeeze me in during an emergency. I also love that they donât try to âupsellâ me. They will tell me, âthis is what is necessary and this is just extra recommendations.â Everyone from office staff, to techs to the vets are great. Love Moose, Bear, Daisy and Binx.
