Pet safari is amazing. If you say otherwise, then you need therapy. My daughter worked here. They treated her like family. We moved from the area. And I miss them dearly!!!!
You should read the reviews and responses I have been a patron since 2020. I have had my pomeranians groomed here for several years. I haven't been back for grooming since they raised the prices almost double. I made appointments for 4 dogs bath and a blowout on 2 different days. I got stuck in Des Moines due to weather and was on the plane at 5am the morning of the 1st appointments. I was going to call on my connection to let them know I would not be able to make it. Dave called me when i landed in Atlanta. I profusely apologized and told him I would pay for the services because I didn't show up. He told me no, I couldn't bring the money and furthermore they weren't going to be able to groom my dogs anymore. I apologized again and he say "you guys have to grow up sometime". Since I'm 60 yrs old, I feel it was not appropriate for him to say that to anyone. I hung up. I have gone to Pet Safari for 4 years to purchase all my pet needs because they are a locally owned business. Regardless of price I want to support my local hard working friends. Well clearly they know me and they know what type of person I am and know I'm here to support them. Not anymore. If they are going to refuse to groom my 6 dogs because I couldn't show up for 2 grooming appointments, but I was willing to pay for missed appointments, this is not the place I want to be a patron of or refer anyone else there. They won't miss my money. I hope they review this situation, what was said and come up with a better solution. I think it would have been beneficial for me to pay for the service and tip the groomer because it wasn't her fault.
What incredibly staff that really care about helping you with your pets. A small privately owned shop like this clearly beats a chain store any day.
I went to Pet Safari to buy two rats as pets. The lady working there was extremely helpful over the phone and in person, had no trouble handling the animals and knew what she was talking about. I ended up buying a Rat Home, water bottle, bedding, food, and treats for my rats that I also bought. (They're two young dumbo rats). The rats are very sweet and there hasn't been any trouble with them whatsoever. All the things I bought are also doing great. The store was quite nice and the prices were the same if not better than pet chain stores. They had many animals and had just what I wanted. What I really love about Pet Safari is that they really do know what they're talking about and are very helpful as they have the animals' best interests at heart. Definitely will come again.
