Staff was super friendly and great with my gentle giant. We did experience an issue with some printed instructions not being accurate, but the owner was very attentive to the issue and made us feel as though this was an error that has been easily resolved since being brought to their attention. Hoping to update to a 5 star review once we attend our next appointment.

we recently rescued a border collie mix and he wasn’t chipped (unlike what the rescue advertised him as). i called this morning to see if they had availability and they did - they got us back as soon as possible and were so kind. some lady came in with her puppy and was obviously on drugs, saying things and not restraining her dog. the ladies at the front desk were more than apologetic even though it wasn’t their fault. i will definitely be back again, thank you guys for being so amazing!

I absolutely love this clinic! Dr. Smith and Dr. Bayon are extremely knowledgeable and made sure I understood the process of my cat’s surgical procedure from beginning to end! Incredible technicians here as well. They were very kind, passionate and helpful throughout my cat’s visits. I recommended this establishment to my friend as well, they were able to get her and her cat in really quickly while she was in need! The prices here are insanely reasonable compared to all other clinics in the area! Definitely great value for the price and the amount of care that went into our visits there.

My cat has been an established patient for two years at Pet Pal. Skip to the last paragraph if you don't want to read everything. I recently had to go to Orlando for an FHO surgery for my cat due to significant cost savings (everyone in this area was double the price). I was told that he would need to have his sutures removed in two weeks. Explaining I live in St Pete, they recommended I contact my primary vet and they should be able to remove them no problem. For reference, my total drive time was 6 hours there and back with the crazy traffic on I-4. So trying to save myself the grueling drive for a 10 minute suture removal appointment, I contacted Pet Pal. They essentially refused to accommodate a suture removal because they did not perform the surgery themselves (a surgery they do not offer). They were explaining how he needs post op care and I would need to bring him back to where the surgery was performed. While I do understand where they are coming from, I only needed the sutures to be removed and didn't ask for any other service. I was told if I didn't want to bring him back to Orlando, I can try to contact other vets in the area for the removal. The problem is he isn't established at another vet office. So after several calls, I was finally able to find an office willing to remove the sutures. Pet Pal has proven to be an unreliable vet office. Going forward, I would only recommend them for vaccines since they are lower cost compared to other places in the area. As for general vet visits and other medical needs, I wouldn't recommend them. Save yourself the headache and establish your animals with an office that will actually accommodate your needs outside of a generic yearly checkup.

Took my dog here for a teeth cleaning and they removed a canine tooth. The site became infected. I called twice and asked to be seen by the vet. They said they'd call back. They didn't. So I had to take my dog to an emergency vet to get more antibiotics because it was serious. They recommended further surgery and more teeth to be removed due to the site infection. Now I'm looking at a $1500 bill to remove more teeth and clear out the infection with another vet. I was not informed this surgery could cause issues with surrounding teeth due to it being a canine tooth. I was not told after the surgery that they had any complications removing the tooth. I received no follow-up call to check on my on pup once I got him home. ETA: The Veterinarian, Dr Bayon-Reyes, called me to apologize after I posted this review. The management said they will refund the money I paid for the cleaning and tooth removal. It doesn't fix my situation since I'm facing a huge bill to get my pup back to health and he is losing a lot more teeth, but at least it shows an effort on their part to rectify the situation. They did ask me to remove my review. Instead I added a star but will leave this here for your information. If a teeth cleaning may result in removing teeth, please take your pup some place where they can x-ray, especially if it's a canine tooth. I do heavily support pet rescues and was bringing my dogs here because I wanted to support their efforts to support animals. So this event and posting this review has been deeply disappointing for me.
