I have loved Paws and Claws ever since I found them. My best friend Merlin just recently crossed over the Rainbow Bridge and it was very difficult. Dr. Culpepper and staff were the best. They were compassionate and helpful and made me and Merlin feel like family. Merlin was treated so kindly and respectfully, I can't tell you how grateful I am. I will always take my pets to Paws and Claws, in Dunedin, FL.
Dr. Culpepper and her staff are amazing people. Their caring and compassion to me and my dogs for over 12 years has been above and beyond and I truly consider Dr. Culpepper and her staff as family
Dr. Culpepper! Where do I even start. I guess I’ll start by saying I had an experience with a vet that my dog had went too a little over a year ago and it wasn’t good. I had felt I spent so much money with no answers at all. My same dog became ill, quickly and to a point where it was scary. I reached out to a friend who said he got a new vet and it was Dr. Culpepper and I decided I needed to call on an emergency same day visit. They were busy, no appointments available but the receptionist (Kayla) went back and spoke to the team and doctor. They said we know first timers wouldn’t want to leave their dog alone without them but if you’re okay with leaving her with us we will make sure she’s seen today. I took the opportunity grateful. I picked her up, expecting the worst, the worst dread in my stomach. When I tell you that Dr. Culpepper made me feel at ease. She came in, spoke to me straight forward but with the empathy that I at the time needed. We discussed plans moving forward and treatments, I was still waiting on a blood panel result and it was Friday so we both had to stall and find out more. fast forward Tuesday night at 8:30pm I’m eating dinner and Dr. Culpepper calls me. To discuss bloodwork. At her house, when she’s off work, because in her words “she didn’t wanna leave me hanging and that it’s always so interesting to see a pathology report”. My dog got antibiotics and is a week and a half out of treatment and is her normal self. I can’t thank Dr. Culpepper enough. You’re a gem. Even if you did go to Mississippi state (Go Gators). I will recommend this mom and pop style vet, where everyone is like family, to anyone and everyone. Your the goat Dr. C! That means Greatest. Of. All. Time. If they don’t teach you that in Mississippi;)
The staff at Paws and Claws are amazing! I started seeing Dr Culpepper at another animal clinic and we followed her when she started her own practice. She, and her fabulous staff, have seen all our babies from dogs to guinea pigs, rats and mice. They are the most caring people and have seen us through some rough times. This place and these people are THE BEST!
I had a wonderful experience at Paws & Claws with my cat Ginger. The staff is wonderful and caring. Dr. Culpepper is the best. She is extremely knowledgeable and has so much empathy and compassion for our fur babies. She took the time to explain everything in detail and answered all my questions. She goes above and beyond with communication and follow up post visit. Ginger is like a family member to me, and I know he is in good hands. I won't go anywhere else and I will be bringing my other cat as well. Highly recommend. Hands down best vet you'll ever find.
