Worst experience ever dealing with these people. Petsmart in Largo 10500 Ulmerton Road. I was with my 10 year old. We were seriously interested in adopting a cat the women representing the organization in the Cattery has the worst customer service ever. She was very anxious and high strong. She kept saying she was there for a fun experience and the entire experience was the furthest from fun. Every question I had lead to “we need to call your apartment first”, they refused to give me an application. I was attempting to explain to them that I have an ESA on my current cat and wanted to purchase a second one from them. She wouldn’t listen and kept saying I needed to call my apartment. She gave me Phylis’s number, I called several times and no answer. There are plenty of rescues. Please run from this one! Horrible, horrible experience. If I could give 0 stars I would.
Phyllis was very unprofessional and ghosted me after agreeing to letting me adopt the Bengal cat which I found on my front porch and turned into her rescue. Before she even received the cat, I called her and got her agreement to let me be considered for adoption and to see the cat before she adopted him. She profusely agreed and told me to call back after 1 week after she completed her "assessments." I called and texted her exactly 1 week later with no response. I followed up again and she texted me at 3:45am "Eva he was adopted" I responded and called her and yet received no response.
I am thankful I could give this amazing kitty cat a loving home! I am not blaming the rescue for they do noble work and save 100s if not thousands of kitty and adult cats every year! Pet Smart is a retail store so quality and compassionate employees can change month to month and if Pet Smart didn't put this amazing Flame Point Siamese where I could see his sad face and they older lady that helped my was amazing I wish she could have worked with me from beginning to end of the adoption but the store was busy! REGIS the Flame Point Siamese I adopted 1/6/23 last Friday is sneezing and not feeling well and was malnourished and very skinny, he won't eat the dry food they gave me so I went straight to chicken & rice kitteb dry for the protein to help gain weight and with wet food he already is looking better today he is eating well now just tired and sneezing! He will see his vett. Tomorrow for a full check up! ✔️ (I was told Regis was a return and he was 1yo so I guess the last owner could have neglected him or he was just so stressed he was not eating much!)
I start looking for adopting a cat a week ago because my “baby son” (cat) past away due to heart problem (he arrived to me at 1 month and half and I raise him until his 5 years old). It truly broken my heart and I couldn’t afford such sadness(he always behavior more like a baby than a cat, we never even think he is a cat, it true feels like we lost a kid). I and my husband cried during several nights and decided to adopt another kitty to continue our loves...I wasn’t plan to adopt kitten because of I don’t think I want to be mommy for another “son”. We looked at petfinder, we saw a solid white kitty with a light blue eye...it is my “son”’s eye color. We called KCR, and a lady told us that the kitty is already adopted...but! They have another solid white kitty at Petsmart at Largo mall. I was a little disappointed but we still called petsmart- largo mall to check, and they told us that they actually have 2 solid white kitty and one is an adult another is a kitten. I and my hubby then drive to the store right after the phone call, we saw the two white kitties! I was planing to adopt the adult, but I saw the kitten...Oh the kitten one has a solid white body, a cream tail, and blue eyes, which my baby cat son also has! He remains me my kitty son...I want to take good care of him. The adult one also seems very sweet and shy, his fluffy fur body must be very comfy and soft to hold to sleep...I went back home and thought them for a day, then I come back to the store on Saturday and adopt them both!! The ladies worked there are way too friendly, heart warm, kind, helpful, patience, and sweet. I and my hubby truly appreciate and thankful their helps. ❤️ The kitten’s name is Ollie(the KCR named him), and my baby cat son’s name is Oren, but we love to call his nickname “Ol-mi”. Thus Ollie sounds like and looked alike our baby cat son just past a away, the sadness from us decreased in a huge number. :) The first day Ollie and Cotton(the adult kitty, original “Nimbus” but I changed his original name after got back home) arrived my house, Ollie slept in between me and my hubby entire night, and Cotton is way too shy...he hide himself behinds the big, long dresses in closet...and he come out at morning jump to our bed...we didn’t get to pet him yet he runs away again...I believe they would both in love so much with stay with us...❤️ I believe we will make the most love and peaceful, happy family together 🤗
