I am extremely grateful to the staff and doctors at New Tampa animal Hospital for the great care. They gave my service dog, tattle while she was with the dog sitter. She had been treated in appropriately by my home Vet the dog sitter took her to be seen at the new Tampa Animal Hospital, where was determined that she needed surgery and different medication. The immediacy and necessary surgery saved tattles eye. Before treatment, Tattle would sleep all day with her eye closed. After surgery, and a few days of recuperation, she was able to go shopping again. Three weeks after surgery, her eye is wide open. She is pain-free and healing beautifully.
My dog had a possible ear infection. I was able to be seen the same day. My dog was diagnosed with allergies and was prescribed medication. The staff is always very welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. I feel comfortable taking my dog here. My dog has been a patient for 3 years. As you can see, she feels very comfortable in the exam room.
I appreciate the time spent with my animal to understand not just her physical needs, but also her emotional needs during her time being examined. Great communication and kindness was shown to me by the staff, the tech and the vet. It was much appreciated after a series of less than optimal vet visits elsewhere. It's 30 mins from my house and I will still be back for my dog's care.
I live in Miami- I drive to Tampa for Dr Novy to see my animals, that’s how good she is. 4.5 hours away and I do it without a thought. Amazing person and amazing vet. Truly the very best 🥲 she saved my sofias life when 3 other vets could not - we’re Dr Novy clients for life. 🫶🏻
I brought my baby goat in, who was attacked. Her front two legs were punctured, swollen, warm. They charged me $800 to shave her, scrub her, clean her inside and out from infection. Three days later, her flesh was rotting off, as they left her wounds wide open. without bandages. I called back, but they were closed, so I took her to the emergency hospital on their VM. She instantly needed drains and stitches- another $850. That vet said if this was taken care of properly the first time, she wouldn't have had to come back, in so much pain, and it wasn't unreasonable for me to ask for my money back. When I brought her back to get that drain out, she needed more work- another $1000. After all said and done, I still had to surrender my sweet baby pet goat since the infection set in so bad. My heart is hurting without her, and feel awful for the pain she has endured. New Tampa animal hospital was a mess from the beginning. Forgot to have me fill out paperwork to treat her, so asked me to turn back around. When I said no, they "text" me for consent. Then again when I picked the goat back up after treatment, they forgot more paperwork, so chased me to my car. When I called to tell them about my goat, they didn’t even acknowledge what had happened after their care. Now the manager Kristen is ignoring my response about the refund.
