I've been at this store a few times but never had the pleasure of meeting the owner until today. He was SO wonderfully helpful, introduced me to new products, spoke on ingredients, answered all my questions, and just provided an overall fantastic visit. The store itself is so well stocked, with so many fantastic options. Love that they support the Al Cabones local small business as well!
I have been bringing my dog here monthly for a year. Recently, after dropping my dog off, the owner informed me of a price increase, stating they had been undercharging us. This should have been communicated earlier, especially since I booked the appointment weeks in advance. When my daughter dropped off the dog, the owner called to inform me of the price hike. I suggested paying the new price starting next month, as I had already budgeted for the previous rate. The owner disagreed and hung up on me. I called back, explaining that I needed the grooming done for my father's funeral, and I was out of town. The owner refused to cut the dog's hair, even at the new price, offering only a bath. When I declined the bath, he insisted since the dog was already wet and hung up again. Dogs are part of our family, so having to worry about their safety is not okay. Concerned about my dog's treatment and my daughter's safety, I had a friend accompany her to pick up the dog. The owner's behavior was unprofessional and unkind. I do not mind paying for quality and even intended to continue coming monthly despite the price hike. However, the owner's lack of empathy and compassion, along with blindsiding me with the price increase, made this experience unacceptable. While the owner will likely claim the price hike was not significant and that I was the issue, he mentioned my case as one of severe undercharging. I do not take leaving negative reviews lightly, but under these circumstances, I felt it was necessary.
Brittany is an excellent groomer. She has grooming our dogs for several years. We are extremely satisfied!
I have been taking my dog, Reba, to Lucky Pet for a several years now. The thing that matters to me most is that my dog is happy when she arrives at Lucky Pet and, she comes out smiling when I pick her up. Her groomer does a beautiful job on her! The staff is always very kind and considerate! Hands down, I trust Luck Pet with my Reba.
Loved Luna's latest cut. Our Groomer Brittany is fantastic and we will be back! Very prompt service and attention to detail. I feel my furry daughter is in good hands here. Great job!
