I’ve been taking my two dogs and one elderly cat here for about four years now. Everyone there is very friendly and genuinely care about your fur babies. Prices are reasonable and they accept Care Credit which is great for those higher surprise bills.
Brought in my two cats for a nail trim. Was quick and affordable. The staff are all very nice! Easy to get, easy to get an appointment. Happy I found this vets office!
Short version: If you need a vet you can count on for the long haul, this is bar-none the best experience I've ever had with a vet. The gals at Tyrone Vet are professionals but also some of the most kind-hearted people I've met. Long Version: I've been going to Tyrone Vet for a very long time, getting close to 10 years. I've been to other vets, gave them a chance, but none compare to these gals. They have been with me and my pets from the very beginning to the very end. Anything I wasn't able to understand, they were able to break down into manageable bits. They always gave me options and helped me make the best decisions for my pets. Above all, they will always treat you with kindness and respect, and you can count on them treating your pets the same way. All of the doctors, vet techs, receptionists, everyone who works there has a genuine passion for a field that must be heartbreaking to commit to. I have nothing but admiration and respect for this practice, and I cannot highly recommend them enough. If you need a new vet, this is the one, full stop. Personal note to the team: I don't know how y'all do it. You have a very emotionally taxing career and you manage to always be supportive and chipper despite the circumstances. All of you gals have given my pets the best life possible even in the end and I will always sing your praises. Your time, your care, and your patience do not go unnoticed. If you love your dog, avoid this place. I brought my puppy here for her shots, and it was a terrible experience. The vet even offered me a discount under the table to avoid the larger bill, which felt incredibly sketchy. My puppy cried loudly while they were handling her, and she's been terrified ever since. When I raised my concerns with the technician and the manager, they dismissed them and blamed my dog. This place is highly unprofessional.
Got my little kitty neutered and I was very pleased with the service and professionalism. Have taken a few different pets here over the years and have always been pleased with the service. I would highly recommend Tyrone Veterinary Hospital for your pet's medical needs.
