We love this place! Amber our vet tech is ALWAYS amazing and our dog Rolo loves her. He’s always so scared to go to the vet but when he sees Amber he feels better and is just a little more relaxed!
I've used this veterinary hospital for almost 20 years, for multiple pets throughout that time frame, and will continue to bring my pets here. Today, I brought my youngest dog to playcare and picked up one tired pup this afternoon. The doctors and staff have greeted my new puppies and years later, have cried with me when it's come time to say goodbye to them. Past pets are remembered by long-time staff of the hospital. I'm preparing to board a dog while I go on vacation, and I know that she will be well cared for until I return for her. I'm including a picture of my pup, wore out from playcare today.
We first went to this office early in 2020 for a dental extraction on a senior cat (it went very well) and we switched over to them as our main veterinarian from Banfield not long after. We had five cats at that point, two seniors, so we were in frequently. The staff are informative and kind, and frequently remember us by our cats. They’ve also gone above and beyond for us several times, which I’m really grateful for. At this point we have… eleven cats, so it’s not an exaggeration to say I’m out there monthly. The staff at St John’s Vet are lifesavers. They’re kind, patient, and in the rare instance they don’t know something they’re upfront about it and contact me when they have more information. I feel like I have to shoot reception a weird question about whatever one of my cats are doing or med changes at least once a week. They also do a lot of reminder calls and texts, which are invaluable to me — I’d lose my own head if it wasn’t attached. Important notes for anyone looking for a vet - if you’ve got a reactive animal, call ahead and let them know your concerns. In our experience they’ll work with you (this was a necessity for a relative’s dog, who is usually fine but… not the place to find out otherwise, you know?) - they have a separate waiting room for cats and their owners, with pheromone sprays to help keep your kitty calm (I feel like I live in that room some months) - they have a physical and online shop for specific medications and foods, so if you need specialty stuff you can probably get it there or delivered on an autoship Overall we love the vets, we love the techs and front end staff (I’m working on learning people’s names after four years of frequent visits), and we feel secure our cats are receiving the best possible care when we visit St Johns Vetrinary Hospital. Thank you guys for being here! We would be in a lot more trouble without you
Great experience as usual! We moved to Palm Coast several years ago and have been unhappy with our vet there, so we decided to make the trip back up to St. John’s Veterinary Hospital where we had been clients since the early 2000s. It was definitely worth the drive to feel that your veterinary staff are caring and compassionate with you and your pets! Dr Brown was new to us but she was amazing! She took time with us to talk about options for our older dog and her mobility issues, and we came up with a plan that I’m hoping will work to help her be with us longer, have better pain control and be happier! Can’t recommend them enough! ❤️
I just love every vet and every tech here!! So smart and kind.Happy dogs!!
