My name is Diane and on December 5th I had a appointment with my dog Rocky at Atlantic Animal Hospital. I had the best experience due to many factors my Rocky is a Bullmastiff and protective of me so going in I told them that a women DVM would be better due to Rocky's reaction. From the time I went into the office and to completion my experience was great. The ladies that work there know there job's and do them well. Rocky and I were welcomed by Katrina who was a very nice young lady behind the desk then a Veterinarian assistant Emma came out with a big smile and said hello Rocky and he barked at her she laughed and said you are speaking very clear and said follow me. Then she got all the basics down about Rocky and took Rocky by herself for a urine sample he went with her at ease and Rocky usually is apprehensive about new people tail wagging and they left the room. After they were done the Dr. Came in she was wonderful and said what she needed to do and that she would take Rocky to another room to get him away from protecting me she knew the breed well. Off they went came back and said he is really a great boy no problems I felt so at ease. I had been using mobile vet or Pet Shot for vaccines so Rocky could stay in his environment or just get his vaccines quickly. I highly recommend Atlantic Veterinarian Hospital to anyone who is looking for a very good experience from start to finish. My sister recommended this hospital because of a friend at her Church named Angela that worked there. As I was checking out I finally got to meet Angela and what a sweetheart she was. All I can say is thank's a million to all the ladies at Atlantic you all Rock, and I will refer and continue Rocky's care at Atlantic Veterinarian Hospital because of my wonderful experience of Rocky's care and the way we both were treated. Dr. Moser, Angela and the rest of the staff were absolutely amazing. This was my newly adopted senior dog’s first wellness checkup and she was thoroughly taken care of. She came in shaking and left there calm and at ease. Thank you for taking care of my sweet Lola Grace.
This was our first time to Atlantic Animal Hospital at the Port Orange location. From the ladies answering our questions, concerns about my 3 fur babies Pumba, Sunshine and Princess and kindly getting a same day appointment. The technician truly listened to my concerns and handled them all with great care. Our wait time to see the doctor was less than 10 minutes, Dr . Megan answered my questions, handled my fur babies with such care and she did not take advantage of me by running all kinds of expensive test. Atlantic Animal Hospital will be our new veterinary home for my fur babies. If you’re looking for a place to care for your pets this is the place to go! Everyone was professional and showed kindness, compassion and made you feel like you are part of their family.
We always have a nice visit. However this trip I feel we could have been a little more informed on how to diet. Like what dog food is best for her to lose the 10 pounds she gained. I feed her once in morning and once at dinner. She goes on walks and runs a little. I don't know what else to do. So I feel like the dr. Could have been a little more forthcoming with information.
We just moved and AAH is hands down one of the best and most caring places I’ve come across! The whole team is amazing and take the time to get to know you and your pets. They are professional, kind, and truly care about the health and wellbeing of your fur babies! They are very thorough and honest, whether it’s a routine visit or a “sick” visit - you’ll leave reassured and happy. I recently brought my babe in for a “sick” visit and in under 24hrs I saw major improvements! I cannot thank them enough for taking the time and space to listen to my rambles, explain in detail their choice of treatment and do it all with such grace. Lastly, the ladies that work up front are ALWAYS smiling and laughing, they truly help to ease your mindset before even entering an exam room! Thank you to the AAH team for their dedication and support, and for always showing kindness in this crazy world!
