Poor service, poor attitude, poor everything! Liars cheaters, they hurt my dog! They hurt the dogs legs. Don't bring your dog here! Go to a place who cares and will do the right thing. They left dogs alone in a hurricane. They can't be trusted! They took my dog in the back and the dog came back injured, conveniently no cameras where the dogs are being treated! It's the worst place! Find a vet who cares and is normal. The vet doesn't even talk to you in person. Very impersonal place. This is my last year with them. You get stuck in the contract too... don't do it! Don go there! They are unreliable and will misdiagnose your dog.....
I should have paid more attention to the previous bad reviews before we took our cat Lil Bl here. I agree with all of them. We are not bringing him back here ever!!! We get 9 am appt, don't get him back till 2 and each time he is traumatized. He sits alone for hrs back there with other cats howling. 3 times they couldn't perform necessary procedures ( nails clipped, meds given, bloodwork) and we had to figure out what to do, but they sure take their money out each week. I get the feeling some staff are not properly qualified or just don't care. It might be cheaper to take our fur babies there, but ya get what you pay for.
This place is horrible. I scheduled an appt to be seen to discuss my dogs illness and concerns I had for him. They turned my appt into a drop off and told me to come back in an hour. I requested that before I leave I wanted to talk to the vet and I was assured that was possible. After 2 hours, I had my dog released to me, never was able to speak to the vet and they tried to charge me 200$ for an antibiotic. Also they cut his quick when I asked for a nail trim. In 7 years I’ve never cut his quick nor had that happen, especially at the vet. I have had 3 bad experiences here and this was the last straw for me. The last time I told them my dog has food allergies and gets severe skin and ear reactions to chicken- they then prescribed him a diet prescription food made with chicken. The prices are ridiculous, the vets hands are tied when it comes to caring for your pet because Banfield is a horrible company. This place is for profit, not for your pet. Im also not thrilled with the staff- they are not friendly and although they weren’t disrespectful to me personally, I witnessed and heard the red head girl at the desk being overly rude to other customers. It was a very tense environment and every other customer there could sense it and were expressing their dissatisfaction as well. Very disappointed in this experience and will not be returning.
I've been visiting this Banfield for about two years now and they're always fantastic. They've helped us through the loss of two pets, and have provided services for four cats (two being the onee that they helped through the last few weeks of their lives) and one dog of mine. Everyone is always understanding and they do their best to help me, even when distraught or in a rush. They are upfront about costs and are honest regarding treatment recommendations and alternatives. I've never had a single bad interaction here.
Absolutely horrendous staff at the front desk. It’s unfortunate because the doctors and technicians in the back have been nothing but phenomenal. For today, particularly speaking on the actions and behavior of Lindsey U, that works at the front desk. My dog, Bear, had her 10 day post surgery appointment after getting spayed early this morning. The initial interaction was unprofessional, after checking her in, where she was taken from me with nothing but the cost of today’s appointment and no further explanation of when to pick her up, how to be contacted, nothing. So I said “okay, maybe they’re busy, it is early, they’ll surely call”. Mind you, I am listed as secondary contact in their system, and the only one who dropped her off this morning, so immediately assumed that i would be the one who is contacted when to pick her up from her check-up appointment. Four and a half hours go by and I have heard nothing, so, I call them myself and Lindsey answers. I go on to ask her why I was left with no information on when I could get Bear and why I have not received a call, questions any ordinary, worried pet owner would have. Her response to me was, “oh well, I don’t know why you sat there stressing, you could have just called us.” She proceeded to explain to me that even though I signed Bear in under my name this morning (which indicates who should be called to pick her up, no?) the call was made to my husband, who is listed as Bear’s primary, (who is at work, hence why I am the one who took her this morning). I eventually get transferred to the technician, Haley, that worked with Bear today and she was nothing but kind and informed me of the two different time windows I had to pick up Bear. Great! So I head on my way. Once I got there I was met with Lindsey at the front desk who continued her terrible attitude. Instead of greeting me with a smile or even eye contact she meets me with anger for interrupting her. I then explain to her that out of excitement to pick up my Bear, I left my debit card at home with my phone so only had cash on me to be able to pay my bill for the day. She attempts to deny me the ability to pay with cash because she did not prepare herself for her shift and had yet to assign the drawer to herself. So, I offered a solution of asking to borrow her phone to have my sister read my card number off from my house and that wasn’t an option either, simply because the line is a recorded one, totally understandable. Lindsey now for the first time has looked at me and gives me a look of disgust because how could I be human and forget my wallet. So now we’re met with the conflict of of her having to count her drawer to properly continue her duties. She continues to count the drawer being obvious she’s taking her time, I stand there patiently for her to count the drawer and the energy that was coming off of her was palpable. Genuinely disappointed with the interaction I had today. This is a place I should happily come to, to know me and my fur baby are being taken care of by responsible and respectable people. Genuinely considering going somewhere else the next time she needs any medical help.
