All I have to say is, Dr. Holly Brown. She is a genius and super caring and thorough and if I ever need an emergency vet when I'm in Orlando I will go see her. She has helped my puppy several times and has been very thorough in her explanations and care and I trust her. The facility is very clean and the staff is very caring and very into their job
My husband was at the clinic, but he needed a translator because he didn't understand what the person was saying. He paid about $800 and then they charged him $300 more when they told him that he had to go to the other clinic tomorrow because his heart and lungs couldn't be seen clearly and that the medication they were giving him now would help clear up that area so they could do the study, but that the $300 they were charging was to do a study now, but how? if she can't see what they're going to do, that's the confusion. For this reason, it was not understood what she wanted to say because it is not clear what study they are going to do, she responded saying you are not understanding me. You are not understanding me in a bad way with an arrogant attitude. Then he says, do you want to leave or do you want to take that? That was very inappropriate and unprofessional. And what's more, if you work with animals, the condition of the animal is practically voting for the person. What is this? What service is this?
If I can give this place zero stars I would 2300 later them seeing how vulnerable I was and how delicate the situation was they took advantage of.. my dog went in here and came out 10x worse if it wasn’t for my instinct when I left here to take him elsewhere I would of woke up to my dog dead.. I was recommended repeated X-rays and a exploratory surgery without even a proper diagnosis.. they did nothing to help my pet instead three hrs later I was sent home with my dog hemoraging from his rectim for them to tell me it was normal of the color was darker.. mind you my dog is only five pounds .. he was walking and alert when I walked in just fatigue from vomiting and constant diarrhea . my dog deteriorated rapidly after leaving here and was left with no other choice but to try the two options above ..meanwhile I went to another emergency vet and they were so loving and dedicated to the care they provided my dog, they were honest about what needed to be done and I payed 1136 for over night care and to get him stable .. all this place did instead was rob me no resolution. they deserve to be out of business..
I drove 40 minutes from south Lake Nona on Wednesday, 1/22/25, in need of emergency services for my Labrador. I arrived at 10:45 PM and the door was locked, building dark and closed, and nobody to answer the phone. Their Google page states they’re open until Midnight, while the door placard states open from 6 PM - 7 AM. There was also a printed page on the door stating they would be closed Thursdays - Saturdays due to staff shortages. I was there during none of those scheduled close times.
3 stars because the hospital was very clean and it felt like there was care towards my dog. The prices were absolutely insane though. We are no strangers to the prices of emergency hospitals as our older dog was in and out of them with cancer. We took our younger dog recently and were quoted $2,800 for treatment regarding diarrhea and vomiting. We quite frankly don’t have that kind of money at the moment, and denied the majority of the care they suggested (figuring we could see our vet in the morning). Just wanted to make sure our dog wasn’t dangerously sick. We were made to feel guilty by our decision and it was just a really weird experience. Someone came back and confirmed the choice like 3 times. At other hospitals I’ve been to, they usually talked me through what made sense to do right away and what could wait for the normal vet. It felt like all or nothing here (you can deny certain things, just explaining how we FELT). I think reading through the very defensive comments to the reviews here, you can get an idea of how the owners are. Not saying your animal won’t be treated well here, but it’s a weird vibe.
