Simply the best of the best. Our Alibi was diagnosed over the summer with diabetes which brought on Cataracts, she went blind very quickly. At only 7 years old, we hoped she may have some hope for her future. Animal Eye Associates completed her initial exam saying she was a good candidate for surgery to correct her vision.....they were right! Surgery completed and 1 week later, Alibi has healed quite well and can see again!!! The entire staff, from answering the phones to the surgeons, were professional, personable, and treated us with compassion and care. Highly Recommend! The pic on left is one week before surgery, the pic on the right is one week after..
These doctors & techs literally saved my dogs life & my sanity. My little pup had an accident where he lost eye sight immediately, and they were able to get him in only 12 hours later to not only diagnose & treat, but also work with him & me as we adjust to his new lifestyle. We unfortunately had to have surgery to remove an eye, and due to the flawless job of the team here, he healed quickly, smoothly, and it solved all his pain problems. Very happy with this staff of experts, and will continue to recommend them for all your pets eye needs; whatever they may be! Thank you Animal Eye Associates for everything, we are so grateful!
He has taken care of my girl's eyes for 11 years. What a blessing he did surgery on them at 2 years old and has been taking care of them. They are almost 13 year old sisters from the same litter. They could not see when they were born and were given the gift of sight after surgery. Thank you, they have been living an amazing life! Blessed for caring talented people.
Several years ago, we had an older dog, Aiko, who had diabetes and he developed an eye issue. Dr. Priehs and his team were fantastic back then. Now, we have another older girl, Chloe, who has an eye ulcer. Once again, Dr. Priehs and the team at Animal Eye Associates has been great to work with. Prompt, knowledgeable, compassionate, and accessible. We are very lucky to have access to such skill here in Central Florida.
We are happy and grateful that we were able to work with this office to save our cats eye. Our regular vet had recommended enucleation for a corneal sequestrum. Our cat has "Feline Herpes" in his eye. We somehow managed to put the eye drops in for the four months required. Also aided by diagnosis and treatment of a very rare worm by regular vet, and a change in food to aid immune system, the eye started healing itself by May. By June, this vet said the eye was healed, and he would have a small scar. We can live with the car drop off situation. Some animals behave better without their "human parents" in the room.
