The absolute best vet I've found. I moved to Tampa last year and used a vet closer to that area and the service/care did not compare. I should have just driven the hour to bring my babies here because the vet at Animals Best Choice is so knowledgeable! They tell you exactly what your pet needs and never try to push any extra things that aren't necessary. I will continue coming here for pet care.
Let me tell you, I am one happy client of 2 plus years. Dr. Weston and Dr. Taylor are absolutely extraordinary vetnarians with years of practice. They don't rush and actually spend time with you and your fur babies and genuinely care. I'm not going to lie, sometimes I think to myself, "These doctors are going to think I'm silly for bringing them in for this and that." However, they never once acted as though it's silly and always act with kindness. Let me brag on these technicians seriously....this place wouldn't be what it is without them. Cary has been the one we have seen the most always very kind and loving to all 5 of our babies. All five boys tend to favor her and her personality. Jessica is amazing only because she owns a pitbull, too 😉. Destiny is very precious to our frenchie and gave us amazing references for his surgery. Now Danielle and Cassie, both receptionists here, are so kind-hearted. They always make me feel better when I'm about to swipe the card 😆. I could go on and on about this superpower team. Ryken, Rayden Lee, Ringo, Rolo, Dexter, and now baby Mooshu are all super happy and, most of all, healthy. I never have asked if they except human patients, too 😅
I've been taking my cats to Animal's Best Choice since 2004/5. They have cared for 6 of my babies over the years. They saw my 1st cats, Kitty & Zooey throughout their entire lives. I know take our other 2 babies, KitKat & Teddy to see them as well, & there's been a few in between. It doesn't matter if it's a routine check up or something more urgent; all of their vets are attentive, informative & caring. I've gotten hugs when I needed them & honest answers, but I've never left feeling like my pet didn't receive the absolute best care they could get. My sweet boy Teddy was just diagnosed with a heart murmur, it led to an emergency situation where fluid was backing up into his lungs. Dr. Blanchard saw him right away, got him or oxygen & the right meds, he had X-rays & ultrasound. I thought I might lose his, but by the next morning his lungs were 90% clear & he was ready to come home with a prescription regimen. A few months later & you'd have no idea my little butterfly chasing boy has a tiny hole in his heart. We absolutely love Dr. Taylor who has been out main vet over the years. I've learned so much about caring for my cats from her. She will explain anything going on with your pet thoroughly, it helps you understand & be able to know clearly what is happening & why, to make all the right decisions for your animal. Dr. Weston is wonderfully knowledgeable & equally as caring. They also have an amazing team, some who have been there for as long as I've been taking my babies there, or longer. Cassie is just wonderful. Not only will your animal receive top notch vet care at ABC, they also treat with the newest technology. Surgical lasers & other devices to help speed healing afterwards. Unfortunately, I've had a few kitties with chronic conditions. That meant a lot of vets visits. Taking them to ABC each time took the stress out of the situation.
