I enjoyed having a sprayer to clean the dogs, people have left drinking bowls and there are different drinking fountains that can be used by all. Poop receptacles but bring your own bags. Plenty of tables and shade, places to run. The dogs we met are friendly. They have a tree that looks like it has a dog head growing out of it by the picnic table!

Great park but beware! A few others and I have found a lot of broken glass , ceramic pieces and airsoft gun pellets.( In both the large and small dog park. ) Haven't had any problems with any aggressive dogs besides a black standard poodle and a few pit bulls that get too riled up. Stay near your dog if youre not used to the park cause some people will let their dog continue biting aggressively and have no care for it. Other than that the people and dogs are usually a great and fun crowd to hang around with.

I always bring my 2 dogs here, and the park is more than big enough for them to run around! They recently added an improved water station, where you can either hose off your dog(s) or refill a water bowl fairly quickly. The park has plenty of trash cans for waste, baggies for pick up, water bowls, and benches

The dog park is ok. It’s shady which is nice, but it’s. It’s almost all sand which I don’t care for so we don’t go there often. We go to one that had wood chips. The wood chips make it easier when it’s rained and my shoes don’t get full of sand.

closed Tuesday sundown to Thursday morning. typically only maintenance is empty trash, quick mow of patches of grass. The water has been leaking years. Many trees are dead and if they fall the park will be closed a month. I really like the park, mainly because all other parks have no dog signs. I wish city officials liked it and dogs a little more. It's obvious when it's closed for months because a tree falls into the fence or cable TV line falls down near it, it's closed months out of the year. That's the only real issue, availability and tiny effort.
