First time visit and my dog, April and I were welcomed. We had just moved here from Cape Cod and my life partner recommended the clinic. I would recommend their services.
I’ve been with this vet for 6 years and they have gone downhill TREMENDOUSLY. I wish I could give 0 stars considering they went from being very convenient to one of the most inconvenient vets ever. They don’t send out prescriptions to be fill, they don’t list their lunch hours and they are only open 2 days a week. If you want a prescription you can either pay shipping from their site or you can go in person and pay a dispensing fee. Not to mention the port orange location doesn’t have an emergency department anymore. Why am I paying the same or more for a vet that offers less service than they used to?
My dog Moose had a bad ear infection and hematoma. Dr Fattah got him in right away and did surgery on him. I got to bring him home that afternoon. I just wish they were there more then a few days a week and had smaller cones.
Called ahead to see if they could take a look at my cat since our regular vet was booked. He has eaten a piece of ribbon and Google says that warrants an "emergency". Called this place since it also said on their website that they accept emergency walk-ins. I was told they weren't an emergency office. Ok, maybe change your website? Vet was informed on the phone on why I was making an appt for my cat. Even down to the size of the ribbon he ate. Later that day, after lots of stressing and me not feeling well to being with, I drive 40 minutes with a nervous, meowing cat the whole way. I was told to arrive early for paperwork. I was never given any paperwork to fill out upon arrival. The vet literally spent 5 minutes looking at my cat and says to just keep an eye on him and that he will pass it. I was also told I could come back tmrw to the Port Orange office, even FURTHER away. I almost laughed. A whole day of stress could have been avoided!! I was basically speechless. Such a bizarre experience. I'm honestly going to look into getting a refund. Front desk lady (never was given a name) was nice, but visibly overworked. I would definitely avoid this office.
Excellent staff! Very helpful and answered all my questions in a way I could understand. Seemed very compassionate toward my kitty and did everything to make her - and me! - comfortable. Been coming to this office over 20 years!
