got my little pom a pawdicure and i had to ask them 2x to cut and buff better/shorter and still not as good as petco grooming does. wouldnt go here again. i dont know if they were like nervous or just didnt have the experience?
My cat was stressed during her appointment, and they said they couldn’t handle her without sedation. She was only there for a vaccine. So you’re telling me, you can’t give her the initial vaccine, but you want to give her an injection to sedate her so you can give her another injection? I’m not a vet, but that doesn’t make sense. A poke is a poke, and I didn’t feel it was necessary to sedate her with anything for what would’ve been 2 seconds of holding her. I even offered to hold her, as I’ve done at many vets offices, but that isn’t allowed here apparently. Seems like paying for sedation is their way of upcharging. That’s how it felt, anyway. Always, always advocate for your animals and yourself. If something feels off, walk away. I’m disappointed we wasted time here, but I won’t support shady business practices like that either. Also, the customer service associates at the front desk were cold and unwelcoming. Made for a really unpleasant experience and a waste of time. We have 3 animals that see the vet regularly, but this will not be the one for us. (The girl that was in the room with us was an angel, she made this the only redeemable part of the visit for us.)
I had pet insurance through Banfield I signed a one-year contract originally I'd had the insurance for a year and 6 months never resign the contract my pet dies I called to cancel the insurance they told me they were canceling and everything was fine and here it is three or four months later they sent me to collections and they're asking for an additional $162 after I already informed them the pet had died but yet they were still trying to charge me for insurance on the pet after it was dead. I strongly recommend anybody who's considering getting insurance through Banfield to not do it if your pet dies they will go after you for more money. Talk about heartless scumbags.
Even when we have to drop him off we feel certain he is in loving hands. They always treat him so special which makes us feel at ease. He even made a friend in the store right after his appointment.
Vet techs and doctors seem great. Trying to cancel your pro plan is disgustingly expensive and they will do anything and everything to come up with excuses to why you need to pay hundreds of dollars to cancel, almost seems fraudulent. They renew your plan without you knowing and you are “locked” into a 12 month agreement without your knowledge. It’s a never ending cycle that you can’t get out of. Scam artist at there best. Never again.
