The entire staff are caring and very good at what they do. Having a sick pet is stressful and the atmosphere, from the comfortable waiting area to the private rooms and the demeanor of the staff, both my little dog and I found comforting. The care was excellent, Dr Mathew’s went over the results of tests ,what they meant then gave me a treatment plan with several cost options. There was a follow up plan for my pup with her regular veterinarian. The vet techs (nursing team), specifically Jordan and Hunter, who we also had contact with, also showed much compassion. They made sure we were comfortable and that all medications and their uses, dosages etc were understood before we went home. I will use them again if the need arises! Highly recommend.
We brought our 16-year old mini schnauzer here last Saturday night because he was having a non-stop seizure and seemed paralyzed on one side. The vet was very compassionate and caring. She stated that she would support us no matter what we decided to do. She reviewed our options with care and consideration. Grateful for the staff here!
Beacon Animal Hospital – A Truly Compassionate Team I cannot say enough good things about Beacon Animal Hospital and the incredible care they provided during one of the most difficult moments of our lives. When our beloved cat Smokey's health started to decline, the team at Beacon was nothing short of amazing. They handled everything with such compassion, respect, and professionalism from the moment we walked in the door. Dr. Nagel and the entire staff were not only knowledgeable and thorough but also took the time to walk us through all of our options with empathy and understanding. They treated Smokey like he was their own, and it was clear that they genuinely cared about his well-being, as well as our emotional state during this difficult process. When the time came to say goodbye, they ensured that it was peaceful and dignified. Their kindness and gentle approach made an unbearable situation a little more bearable. They gave us the space we needed, supported us with comforting words, and helped us through every step of the process. Knowing that Smokey's last moments were with this loving team has been a tremendous comfort to us. I am so grateful to the team at Beacon Animal Hospital for their compassion, warmth, and dedication. They turned a heartbreaking moment into one filled with love and grace, and we are forever thankful for their care. I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a vet that truly cares about your pet and your family. Thank you, Beacon Animal Hospital, for everything.
We have only been here once. They saw my sweet tiki when she wasn’t at her worst. They called a few days later to check on her but unfortunately we had to say goodbye to her 😞 I cannot express how grateful I am for this card, to know my sweet girl was treated with such compassion and love… thank you so much for expressing this level of care ❤️
They were accommodating for our sweet Gabriella and got us in right away. We did pay about $300 just for the visit, some pain, and anti nausea medication to keep her comfortable until the next day. They went over our options and pricing. They wanted us to do over $800 of testing. They didn't think to test her for feline leukemia first. Not sure if that is standard but oir vet thought they should have. We decided to get the dental consultation and blood work they suggested with our primary veterinarian because they had an opening the next day. Plus it was much cheaper! Unfortunately she was positive and in the final stages of her condition. Sadly we had to put her down. It was so hard. We are thankful Beacon didn't try to nicle and dime us but gave us the option to go elsewhere. They are much cheaper then the others in the area. It makes me sad so many veterinarian emergency clinics are so expensive. I think we need to get pet vet insurance to be safe.
