Beacon Animal Hospital – A Truly Compassionate Team I cannot say enough good things about Beacon Animal Hospital and the incredible care they provided during one of the most difficult moments of our lives. When our beloved cat Smokey's health started to decline, the team at Beacon was nothing short of amazing. They handled everything with such compassion, respect, and professionalism from the moment we walked in the door. Dr. Nagel and the entire staff were not only knowledgeable and thorough but also took the time to walk us through all of our options with empathy and understanding. They treated Smokey like he was their own, and it was clear that they genuinely cared about his well-being, as well as our emotional state during this difficult process. When the time came to say goodbye, they ensured that it was peaceful and dignified. Their kindness and gentle approach made an unbearable situation a little more bearable. They gave us the space we needed, supported us with comforting words, and helped us through every step of the process. Knowing that Smokey's last moments were with this loving team has been a tremendous comfort to us. I am so grateful to the team at Beacon Animal Hospital for their compassion, warmth, and dedication. They turned a heartbreaking moment into one filled with love and grace, and we are forever thankful for their care. I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a vet that truly cares about your pet and your family. Thank you, Beacon Animal Hospital, for everything.
They were accommodating for our sweet Gabriella and got us in right away. We did pay about $300 just for the visit, some pain, and anti nausea medication to keep her comfortable until the next day. They went over our options and pricing. They wanted us to do over $800 of testing. They didn't think to test her for feline leukemia first. Not sure if that is standard but oir vet thought they should have. We decided to get the dental consultation and blood work they suggested with our primary veterinarian because they had an opening the next day. Plus it was much cheaper! Unfortunately she was positive and in the final stages of her condition. Sadly we had to put her down. It was so hard. We are thankful Beacon didn't try to nicle and dime us but gave us the option to go elsewhere. They are much cheaper then the others in the area. It makes me sad so many veterinarian emergency clinics are so expensive. I think we need to get pet vet insurance to be safe.
The staff at Beacon Emergency Vet Hospital are incredible. When we came in for an emergency this morning they were helpful, kind, worked quickly to make sure my dog was okay and then did their best to make sure we knew how best to care for her once she was back home with us. We are so thankful for everyone there and making sure my baby nugget was safe. Thank you.
My dog flew over the steps and landed on a porcelain salamander Yard ornament we've had for 30 years which broke into pieces and cut the artery in her foot. This happened at 7:30 Sunday Night. The vets at Beacon We're amazing and did surgery on her and I had her home several hours later. The facility was pristine clean and everyone was very nice. It was pricey but you have to consider there a 24 hour vet so they're staffing people all day and all night. Thank God I have pet insurance if you don't have it I would definitely recommend it. Thanks Beacon!
My experience at Beacon for my cat’s eye infection was the best vet experience I’ve ever had. Professional and pleasant staff. Quick and transparent service. Everyone that I interacted with was helpful and so kind to me and Indy. He’ll be back on his feet in no time. Thank you all!!
