We sadly lost our two cats recently, but Beacon’s amazing vets and staff were wonderful to work with. Their end of life care was very kind and supportive, and I am very thankful for what their whole team does. I highly recommend them to anyone in a similar situation looking for help with their older pets. They even helped our second cat recover and have three more great weeks of life before we had to bring him back. I’m very grateful for that.

My daughter and I took out precious hedgehog Penelope in a couple of weeks ago, unfortunately we had to put her to sleep. The staff at Beacon Emergency were so kind and understanding. A few days later we received a sympathy card signed by the staff. They true care for their patients, as well as the patients families. Thank you Beacon Emergency, I will be referring all friends and family to you from now on.

Last night my dog Akira got into a pack of gum that has xylitol in it. After speaking to animal poison control we were advised to take get her to the vet asap. We got there in 10 minutes and they were ready for us! The employee up front was very kind. They took her back and took all the measures needed to get akira on the right track. Akira is an extremely nervous girl and is terrified going to the vet but they were all so sweet and patient with her. We’re super thankful for Veronica our vet tech for being so honest with us and explaining everything. She had a calm demeanor which is very helpful to someone panicking. She was the best! Big thanks to everyone at beacon for everything they do. Akira is already doing so much better and acting like herself again. I couldn’t recommend this place enough.

We took our dog, Bubba, in at the beginning of the month for likely a bee or wasp sting that caused his face to swell up pretty badly. I was extremely impressed with how fast we were in and out in comparison to some other big name emergency vet hospitals I’ve been to. The staff was super friendly, and the office was clean. They even notified our regular vet of our visit so our vet could follow up with us to make sure everything was okay. Emergency vet trips can be very stressful, even if it’s something small so I’m very grateful for how seamless they made the experience. Very thankful to have such a great local emergency vet nearby.

I have been in the position of needing ER care for my dog twice in the past year and went to Beacon both times. Both times, I had the luck of working with Dr. Hamisak at Beacon ER and feel lucky that I was able to have her help and expertise in these situations. I was also lucky to work with the tech Amanda at my first visit, who provided outstanding care and experience. Beacon is a very clean clinic with a compassionate and skilled staff. Having spent a decade in various parts of the vet and pet industry, I couldn’t be pickier when it comes to vet care for my animals. Dr. Hamisak and the Beacon staff were fabulous at communicating my pet’s condition, recommended treatments and was able and willing to discuss the why behind their recommendations. The cost of procedures was transparent and well-presented before procedures were done. You will not be judged for the reality of a budget in this hospital and instead the team will partner with you to find the best path forward. Any ER vet, particularly in this area, is going to be a higher expense - Beacon is much better priced than other ER vets in the area and gives far more personal, caring, and attentive treatment. I was never rushed out the door and the vet took time to answer each and every one of my questions, with true concern and a real dialogue about each. My pet’s medical history was throughly taken into account for the best plan of action. This can’t be taken for granted when getting care outside of your usual vet. Most importantly, my pet had a great outcome after both visits. Thank you to the Beacon Team for helping my dog when others would have provided less compassionate care at a higher cost.
