Took our new puppy to see Dr. Arredondo at Belcher Animal Hospital. First checkup, shots, the really important things for our new family member. The entire staff was friendly and 100% on point with everything. It was an amazing experience and I highly recommend for all the pet owners in the area.

I have been noticing some concerning behaviors with my cat over the past few days, so I called the animal hospital to make an appointment as soon as they were open this morning. They scheduled me in right away, I even got in earlier than planned. They provided quality service and genuine care for my pet. I was very pleased with my experience today!

This USED to be an affordable place. Not so much now, now that they were bought out and under new management. I took my dog in there yesterday to get his shots and an exam to get his teeth cleaned. They want OVER 900$ just to get his teeth cleaned. Now is that not ridiculous? And that's not including having teeth pulled, (which he needs as well, but the cleaning comes first).. so I can only IMAGINE what the cost of the pulling of teeth would be. I'll not be returning here with my pets. They are definitely NOT the same in pricing or care. They're there to rob ya blind now. BTW. I did find another vet that will do my dogs cleaning, with all that was entailed with this vets fees.. for 430$ HUGE difference and this place is going to start to lose business fast!!! Needless to say that I had an appointment with my other 2 rescues to go here this week. That will not be happening EVER. They are a money hungry VET now. Something that the other crew and the Dr/his wife did not do to you. They actually cared and they didn't gauge your pockets. What a shame to take a mans business that WANTED to help you in every which way without wanting JUST money, he wanted to make sure your PET was #1 and the pricing was suitable to keep that pet #1 and not the lining of your pockets. Your response is quite comical considering that I have the paperwork of the cost it was going to be to get this all done! And it is NOWHERE near the lower cost of what is on this paper. Comical that you say that you are not sure how that happened. Well lets see, maybe because your secretary printed the cost on a piece of paper that clearly shows every step and the cost of everything that needs to be done? Are you trying to tell me that I'm making it all up and that its rude of me to point out the obvious. You DID take a husband and wife's business that cared about ALL their clients as if we were their family along with our pets and you started right out of the gate gauging people, because I quote which was told to me "We have better equipment" so that better equipment makes it ok to take what rapport that they built with all of us and then drain our pockets? INSANE!!!

Made an appointment for my sick cat at 4:30. They called my wife and asked her if she could bring her in earlier. I got off work early so that I could meet her there as well with our sick cat. After waiting 45 minutes and being told that they were sorry.. The vet was with a sick animal and would be with us when they were able, we took our sick animal that we brought in and left. Apparently after reading the many recent reviews since the new vet came on board.. This treatment is common here. DO NOT RECOMMEND bringing your pet to this place. The staff I read.. Has been put through positivity training.. Common courtesy and professionalism should be added to that and some of them need to revisit that class.

I have been going to Belcher Animal Clinic since 1994 and wouldn’t go anywhere else. Dr. St. John is very kind, knowledgeable, and a doc with integrity. I recommend him to anyone looking for a vet. The staff is friendly and the office is well run. This vet is popular so wait times can get long, but well worth it to know your pet is in the very best hands.
