On black Friday my wife and I had the tough decision to let go of our beloved cat after he lived to see almost 18 years of age. When we made the decision the staff not only was sincere and compassionate. They do it with a sincerity and love that's second to none. We will never be able to thank them enough for everything through the whole process. Although our hearts continue to hurt. We know he is in a better place and having Best care animal hospital to be there will not be forgotten...ever!
I have been going here for over 16 years. The staff and veterinarian's are all wonderful! They take their time and answer all questions you may have. We have been with Best Care for 8 years. The staff and Dr's have always shown complete compassion and respect. Unfortunately, we just had to put our beloved 16-year-old Lhasa, Toby down. It was the most difficult thing we ever had to do. When I called, I explained how stressed he gets going on car-rides so they made sure to meet us at the door and guide us directly into the euthanasia room. They gave us all the time we needed to say goodbye. The whole staff handled the procedure very professionally with love and compassion. When it was over, they left us with him to say goodbye. We were then able to just walk out at our leisure both a sobbing mess. A few days later they sent a beautiful flower arrangement for our loss. Best Care Animal gets it! They understand how much love we have for our pets. Kudos to all of your team and thank you for the many years of care you provided to our angel!
I have been obsessively researching vets for my dogs and settled on this one. I'm so glad I did. I have 2 bullies who are rescues I've had for the better part of a decade, and some vets I've tried were downright awful. It's always so stressful moving somewhere new and trying to find a reputable vet who isn't just after your money. Best Care is right up there with the best vet we've ever had. They listened to what I want, what my dogs need, and they worked with me on cost so I could get my boys the treatment they needed ASAP. 2 visits and $1k later, they charged me nothing but fair prices, and they took such great care of my boys. So glad to have found our new permanent vet!
Our Italian Greyhounds had their dental cleanings today with extractions. We had just established with Best Care so we were pretty anxious about trusting them with our dogs and our wallet. We were very impressed with Dr. Channell. She called us after each dog had their x- rays to go over the plan and also called once each dog was recovered. One of our dogs ended up needing more work than expected, so we were a little concerned about the bill, but Dr. Channell stuck to the quote we were given. The price was fair in my opinion. They also provided us with a packet that contained before and after photos and a copy of their dental imaging! The only reason I gave them a 4/5 is because they left the IV in one of my dogs. I’m a nurse so I took it out at home, but it shouldn’t have been there. Overall we are very pleased and will definitely continue to use this office/vet.
