Rose, Erin, and Angel make an amazing team!! When I started looking into service dog training, I was originally VERY nervous and hesitant. I wanted to make sure I was picking trainers who would respect my dog and his personality and really listen to my needs. I couldn't have found a better team than Canine Linguistics. From start to finish, they eased every worry I had. During the first consultation/meet and greet, I met Rose and Angel. They were warm and kind, and being in their space, I knew their own animals were beyond well cared for. In speaking to Rose, she immediately understood and could relate to many of the struggles I face, and helped me understand many aspects of having and training a service dog. I eventually met Erin, another wonderful Canine Linguistics trainer, and her own Service Dog. Meeting Erin and Ely was a pleasure, as I got to see another service dog with a similar temperament to my pup! They eased the anxiety I had about leaving my dog for an 8-week board and train program. I could tell they were going to love him just like their own, and boy, was I right! After 8 weeks with Rose, Erin, and Angel, my pup has become so much more settled, happy, and relaxed. He hasn't lost an ounce of his goofy, fun-loving personality, but he's gained a lot of impulse control, manners, and confidence. He's heeling much better on leash. He's much more engaged with me when out. They worked to settle his mind and over-excitability. They've set me and my pup up for so much success. They sent lots of pictures and videos along the way, lots of check-in, and followed all my particular instructions for his food and supplements. They take the dogs out multiple times a week for outtings, they have a large fenced yard for the dogs, and they have equipment for exercising them inside as well! They give them high-quality chews and treats. They absolutely treat their clients and pets with so much respect and love, and I couldn't have made a better decision. I've been recommending them to everyone I can because I've been so, so,happy with the care my pup and I received. He's absolutely going to make a stellar service dog thanks to the help of this wonderful team. If you're looking for a place where your dog will be seen, heard, respected, loved, and trained (and you as well!), then look no further. As long as you're willing to put in the work to understand and follow through with the training they've set up, you will have a happier, more well-adjusted, and settled pup. I will continue to work with them over the next year and have no hesitation leaving my pets with them if I need to board them in the future. They are EXACTLY the kind of people I want around my pets. And beyond the original board and train, they are committed to maintaining communication and ensuring I am able to consult them with any issues or questions I may have going forward. Thank you, Canine Linguistics Team!!! I'm so grateful for the work and effort you've put into Charlie and I as a team! šš§”š
I recently had the pleasure of working with a fantastic dog training company, and I canāt recommend them enough! My cattle dog was struggling with basic obedience and reactivity, but thanks to the incredible trainers, Angel Rose and Erin, she has made remarkable progress. From the start, their holistic approach to training was evident. They took the time to understand my dog's unique needs and created a tailored plan that not only addressed her issues but also focused on her well-being. The emphasis on educating owners was particularly valuable, as I learned how to communicate effectively with my dog. Now, my cattle dog is off-leash and displays stellar obedience. It's truly a transformation! Iām so grateful for Angel Rose and Erinās dedication and expertise. If you're looking for a training program that prioritizes your dog's needs while empowering you as an owner, this is the place to go!
Rose did an amazing job with Ellie for boarding, she learned so much from her time at Canine Linguistics. From how to socialize with other dogs and crate training to threshold manners. Rose communication was amazing throughout the whole process, she would send updates on how she was doing and pictures and videos of her playing with the other dogs. She always gave Ellie time to get all her energy out as well as time for Ellie to relax inside.
If I would leave 0 starts If I could but unfortunately the lowest is 1. This facility gave me the worst experience of my life! I brought my 11 weeks puppy for a 4 week training program to help correct his barking on crate and to potty train him. I received my puppy back at 3 weeks meaning 1 week before training was supposed to end with a broken paw because he was bitten by another dog that was supposedly with them on a training program for behavioral issues. They blame everything on the dog and behave like the episode was an accident which I canāt understand because I received the call and had my puppy back bleeding at 9pm (isnāt 9pm bed time already?) so how both of the dog being outside their crate at 9pm was accident I canāt really picture. Anyways I managed the āaccidentā with all the calm I was capable of to avoid unnecessary delays on treating my dog injuries and requested them to bring him to the vet which they didnāt do automatically. When she call me she asked me if I would like to bring him to the vet after when; after a dog bite the first thing to do is exactly the vet! because of the risk of infection from a bite but she seem to have no idea of how to handle the situation correctly. They did took care of the initial vet bill that included X-ray and treatment it was around 800$ only after asking me if I would like to pay and she would reimburse me after, all this on the phone since she wasnāt even in town her roommate was taking care of the whole shelter while she was in vacation with her boyfriend. After that she insisted on taking my puppy back to her house and of course I refused. How can I trust a person that is supposed to care and help my pet after having my pet bitten and a paw fracture in the same facility that was supposed to be a safe space for him to be trained? Unbelievable! Well long story short I gave my dog to them with 11 weeks for training with only potty and crate issues and I had my dog back with no big difference in his behavior and an injury that I am now responsible for! He now has a cast and is under antibiotics and pain medicine for 1 month! And other than paying for the first emergency care they have done nothing, they never offer to reimburse the training program I paid in full $2500 and she also refuse to pay for any expensive treatment that was required to treat my dog paw. Saying that she would only pay as much as her insurance will cover complaining with me for having to pay from her own pocket for the first medical bill!!!! Honestly is my first time requesting professional training and I am so sad that this was my first experience and that I run into this people. I wish I would have found a real professional to help me and I am sure i would have had a much different better experience! This people say they are professional but THEY ARE NOT! Donāt let them fool you!!!! They have absolutely no idea of what they are doing and THEIR INCOMPETENCE WILL BE AT YOUR EXPENSE!!!
Rose and Angel are AMAZING!!! They trained our bully XL Lindo to be my Service Animal. When I brought him the first day he was skiddish, a puller on the leash and did not listen. He was only about 8 months at the time and had no training, so thats understandable. The 2 and a half months he was gone were so hard, but Rose and Angel sent me pictures and updates of him which were greatly appreciated. He came home to spend Christmas with us and I already began to notice a positive change in him. I met up with them about a week later for a training session with Rose, Angel and Lindo at a coffee shop. She taught me some commands to use with him. To say I was blown away by how well he was doing is an understatement. I fly often and agreed with Rose to allow her to take him on his first flight to make sure he was ready. He did absolutely amazing and he got to play in the snow (and taste it š). Iām sure he enjoyed his first of many trips to NYC. The going home training session was very informative. Rose broke everything down for me and explained it thoroughly. I make sure to bring Lindo to places with me either with or without his vest (depending on the location) as often as possible. As soon as I put on his vest he knows itās time for work. I do my best to make sure I am not over working him. I listen and pay close attention to his needs as well, which is something that Rose showed me. My little guy (well BIG GUY) makes an impression everywhere we go and Iām so very proud of him!! Thank you Rose and Angel for your patience, kind hearts and most importantly taking great care of Lindo while he was with you both. I know he was shown lots of love and attention. You both ROCKKK!!!!
