Dr C is a very compassionate vet. We have been with Central Animal for about 15 years. We had to put down one of our babies in February 2024 due to mouth cancer. The whole staff was fantastic during this trying time for my husband & I. All the rest of our babies receive excellent care at Central Animal. I highly recommend them.
Dr. Cosentino and the entire staff treat my dog like she's their own. Whether it's a routine visit or something more serious requiring surgery, I always feel like she's in great hands and is getting the absolute best treatment. Highly recommend!
Dr. C is one of the most caring, compassionate and skilled vets I’ve met in a long time. She was instrumental in trying to save my dogs life as he almost bled out due to a tumor and even though it turned out to be a very aggressive cancer, she was with us every step of the way. The staff are also very sweet and helpful and I’m so grateful to have found this place! Highly recommend!!
Dr Cosentino did a wonderful job helping with my dog , Gracie. First she directed her rehab after her CCL surgery following an accident , and then she performed her cherry eye surgery. The whole office was friendly and encouraging with her . Gracie actually was happy to go in their clinic which isn’t typical . Highly recommend Central Animal Hospital on 4 th st . They are a great group of providers !!
I brought my 12-year-old Husky, here this afternoon. The vet tech was so caring, loving, and gentle with her! I can't thank her enough for that. She is a sweet girl, but don't touch the paws, lol. They had their work cut out for them when cutting nails. They were upfront about the costs (high as they were due to all that she needed). The doctor was extremely thorough and genuinely cared about her stress and issues. Definitely recommend that you give them a try. Here is my girl relaxing after a bit of a stressful time. ***Update: My girl is healed from her surgery, and we are immensely grateful. That being said, I wish there was better communication on future fees after surgery. They were quite a bit and every 2 days. I voiced concerns about her being able to reach her foot below the bandage and injuring it by attempting to gnaw it off. I was to watch her, but I can't stay up 24hrs. After 3 wks they finally heard me and sold me a pillow to keep her reach limited w/ the cone that I never removed. This really upset me because her secondary injury could've been less severe. I feel satisfied as my baby is well, just had to make sure you knew what my issues were.
