I first went to this veterinarian because they have an exotic pet veterinarian. First I will say the veterinarian staff is friendly but that's the only positive thing. I had to get a stool sample for my reptile for a total of 3 different samples at over $100 for each sample given. With all 3 samples I gave I had to give a second one because the correct tests were not performed on any of the 3 samples set. There are only 2 reasons I can think of why 1. The lab personnel are idiots and cannot read a lab requisition or 2. the office staff are and don't know how to fill out a lab request properly. Next I decided to take my 2 dogs for a vaccination Dr. Winn (who has since left the practice) she talked me into getting a more expensive lab test so I could get baseline lab values, the total cost was $544 and was told by Dr. Winn she would contact me with the results. That appointment was November 16, 2024. I have Not had any contact from this office as of today 12-29-24. So if you want a veterinarian office that will empty your wallet and you still have not idea how well or ill your pets are this is the office for you.
if I could put zero stars in I would. my family is absolutely devastated because our cat was dropped off on 7/15 and died 7/17 because they literally overdosed our cat. We brought her in to be groomed and this was our second time there to get her groomed because she needed to be sedated for grooming. I told the lady up front on 7/15 that the last time she came in they gave her way too much sedation and to give her less. She said she would talk to doctor about it. I picked her up Monday and from there on out she would barely move and was peeing on herself because she couldn’t walk. I called on 7/17 to ask what I should do. The lady literally said they gave her more than the normal dose to protect the groomer. Our sweet healthy 7lb cat died that late Wednesday afternoon. Protect the groomer? What? Is she going to get up really fast and scratch him being that much under sedation? This place killed our healthy family cat. Our whole family is devastated. This should be a crime. Shame on you for murdering our cat when we warned you not to sedate her so heavy but you chose to sedate her more! Now our precious baby is dead. Our children are devastated and it’s so clear you do not care one bit! RIP Charlotte and I’m sorry that they took your life prematurely
My kitty has had fleas and I wasn't able to handle the situation with the OTC products (house sprays and Frontline). It was time to get her to the vet for a checkup. Making an appointment was very easy. Check-in was quick and we got a private cat room like a person would get in an ER. My kitty historically gets extremely nervous and difficult when leaving the house in her carrier. The staff handled her so well and I was VERY happy with being able to help hold her while they got blood and urine. It kept her calm. Dr. Perez is so pleasant, caring, and knowledgeable. They worked with me on the cost of everything and were honest about the safety of doing a send out vs more urgent (and expensive) in-house labs. I will continue to take my kitty here to be seen! Thank you, Dr. Perez and wonderful staff.
Dr Saleh is awesome with exotics. He’s helped us with our chickens and parrots too. Very clean, professional, and caring environment—definitely recommend!
I have taken several pets to Ehrlich Animal Hospital and sent a friend there for surgery for her dog. The care plan and staff have been A+ in each case. I had an urgent pet illness on Saturday and Liz and Beth, the two extremely competent ladies on the front desk, were very helpful and got us in, even though they were very busy. My pet’s tech, Lachelle, was thorough and gentle and Dr. Heiman was very knowledgeable and answered my questions clearly. Multiple cats and dogs over many years and a dedication to giving them the best care possible has taught me the difference between a sub par, acceptable, and excellent veterinary practice. Ehrlich Animal Hospital is the latter. I highly recommend them.
