Has been a dream to I and my cats as we've previously had horrible experiences with unprofessional veterinary staff that have called my stressed out cat names. They are very patient with my anxieties and listen to me on my knowledge of my cats and allowed me to help with handling the one cat I cannot use chill pills on. Very much recommend.
I have been taking my cat Mango to Gandy Animal Hospital since he was a kitten. This place feels like a second home to me as the staff are the most welcoming and accommodating group of professionals. A few months ago, Mango had a urinary block due to crystals forming in his bladder. As a first time pet owner, I had no idea what this meant and how it was even possible that my healthy and happy 2 year old cat could get something like that. I was scared, lost, and a complete emotional mess but the Gandy Animal team had my back and reassured me throughout the whole process. Mango ended up having to go through emergency surgery to get the block fixed and the team made sure I was updated and comfortable the entire time. Dr. Minder explained everything to me perfectly and made sure I knew Mango was in good hands. Mango ended up being perfectly fine after the surgery and they put him on a prescription urinary diet.This team truly saved my kitties life. Since that moment, I have been treated with an immense amount of kindness and care each time I call, go to pick up more food, or bring in Mango or my other kitty, Finn, in for appointments. I cannot say enough great things about this place and will recommend any pet owners to bring their babies here. I will continue bringing both Mango and Finn here as I know they are in good hands!!
Excellent, through annual exam for my senior dog who has seasonal challenges. The attending vet was knowledgeable, highly professional and able to recommend strategies to mitigate seasonal symptoms. Her assistant was equally able. I highly recommend this practice to keep your dog healthy.
The front desk staff were great. Very helpful and you could tell they knew what they were doing. The vet was phenomenal, she was able to explain to me what was going on with my dog and the next steps needed to get him feeling back to his normal self. The price was very reasonable for the service I received. Would highly recommend going here for your pet needs
Excellent service at Gandy Animal Hospital. They made everything so easy for me and greeted me with open arms. I felt so welcomed and they gave me so very much if their time. I spent over an hour with Dr Minard who addressed all of my concerns regarding the issues my dog was suffering from. He went into great detail and rolled out some options for me to consider. He was just the kind of Vet that I needed. I am brand new to FL and he was recommended to me by my daughter who loves taking her fur baby there. All around excellence. Jamie
