I have been taking my cat Mango to Gandy Animal Hospital since he was a kitten. This place feels like a second home to me as the staff are the most welcoming and accommodating group of professionals. A few months ago, Mango had a urinary block due to crystals forming in his bladder. As a first time pet owner, I had no idea what this meant and how it was even possible that my healthy and happy 2 year old cat could get something like that. I was scared, lost, and a complete emotional mess but the Gandy Animal team had my back and reassured me throughout the whole process. Mango ended up having to go through emergency surgery to get the block fixed and the team made sure I was updated and comfortable the entire time. Dr. Minder explained everything to me perfectly and made sure I knew Mango was in good hands. Mango ended up being perfectly fine after the surgery and they put him on a prescription urinary diet.This team truly saved my kitties life. Since that moment, I have been treated with an immense amount of kindness and care each time I call, go to pick up more food, or bring in Mango or my other kitty, Finn, in for appointments. I cannot say enough great things about this place and will recommend any pet owners to bring their babies here. I will continue bringing both Mango and Finn here as I know they are in good hands!!
Excellent service at Gandy Animal Hospital. They made everything so easy for me and greeted me with open arms. I felt so welcomed and they gave me so very much if their time. I spent over an hour with Dr Minard who addressed all of my concerns regarding the issues my dog was suffering from. He went into great detail and rolled out some options for me to consider. He was just the kind of Vet that I needed. I am brand new to FL and he was recommended to me by my daughter who loves taking her fur baby there. All around excellence. Jamie
The front desk staff were great. Very helpful and you could tell they knew what they were doing. The vet was phenomenal, she was able to explain to me what was going on with my dog and the next steps needed to get him feeling back to his normal self. The price was very reasonable for the service I received. Would highly recommend going here for your pet needs
My little 10 year old dachshund needed to have all her teeth removed, I was a bit worried about the surgery. I found Gandy Animal Hospital and from my first phone call I was set at ease, they were able to fit me into their schedule within a couple of days. Our initial visit was great, the vet was very thorough and informative! Surgery day went well and her healing process has been great. She really needed this surgery and the vet did a great job. What a blessing to find this place, I will now be bringing my girl here for all our routine care as well!I highly recommend this vet!
Reasonably priced and amazing staff! They were also kind and happy to be at their jobs, which was really refreshing. They were so nice to my animals and made me feel like I could always trust them in the future.
