I have been bringing my fur kids to this clinic for longer than I can remember and everyone here is amazing! I know I can count on each and every member of this incredible team to ensure my kittens are well taken care of. I am so thankful to have Dr. Palm and his team taking great care of my little family. I will never take them anywhere else!
Completely unprofessional and for the money, not a Vet!! Our pet had an appointment for 3:00PM due to unknown distressing medical condition. The Dr asked to reschedule for 11:00AM so he can leave early, we agreed and arrived at 11:10 and denied the visit. I came ahead of my wife & pet and saw the Dr leaving at 11:01, I knew by then that wouldn’t see the dog. They refunded the money, even when we were told that wouldn’t do it at the time we made the appointment, just because they know how wrong they were. Not the first time they have treat us like this, used to be a nice practice and a Dr that showed love for the animals, but that is no longer the case. After having multiple pets seen by Dr Palm, and believed that had a good relationship with his practice, between what I thought it was only the staff and now he is also as bad as the stuff, has been out last visit. Sorry that see how low they have gotten!
I love Dr. Palm and the whole staff. He's very knowledgeable and cares deeply about every pet that comes in. My cat is a spicy little thing who was especially grumpy from being in pain from bladder stones, and he took care of her like she was his own. One of the things that's really important to me is that I'm in the exam room with her all the time. It makes me and her much more comfortable, so she's easier to treat. She's so comfortable there she'll bathe herself! We've been seeing Dr. Palm for 4 years and I won't take my cats anywhere else!
My wife and I had a Shih Tzu which we loved so much. When we took Sophie to this Veterinarian clinic she weighted 10.4 pounds. We kept taking her because she was pooping blood and having continous diarrhea, lysergic and having no appetite , We were alarmed ,so we kept taking her to this vet and the only thing that this vet do is more tests and more money. This vet could not figured out why little Sophie was losing weight so rapidly and pooping blood, being lysergic, and having no appetite. To me this vet was not trained to handle problems of little dog, Shih Tzus. Finally on February 21,2024 we took little Sophie to this vet again and the vet the only thing he did was prescribed medicines for her diarrhea and took her temperature because she was too cold. The vet referred us to the a veterinary clinic. When we took little Sophie her head was limp and the emergency clinic vet told us that little Sophie passed away. My wife and I were crying a lot and we are still mourning because this vet should have pay more attention to Sophie's health problem. We had more money than this vet. I have a Doctorate and I know the vet was more interested in ordering labs and doing more tests which is how this vet generated their money . I have filed a complain with the State Board of Veterinary Practice. Worst experience with this vet we have had. See little Sophie alive and well and little Sophie passed away in my arms.
Hiawassee vet clinic is the worst vet clinic. I took my 8 month old puppy in there becuz he was sick. The doctor came in the room slurring his words and and couldn’t even get a clear word out (so this veterinary clinic let’s doctors work there on drugs) and didn’t even check my puppy and they gave him medicine and a treatment that he didn’t even need. So they weren’t even knowledgeable in how to diagnose him. So because they misdiagnosed him and gave him medicine that he didn’t need his health kept declining. They were rude and not helpful they showed no empathy towards me or my dog.. A week later my dog was worse and I had to bring him to another vet, which was absolutely amazing!! My dog is now his regular self because of another vet office . If you care about your animals I would think twice about taking them here. They didn’t want to refund me the cost of the wrong treatment. Do not bring ur puppy or pets here .
