I LOVE this park, and I wish other dog parks in Lake County would spend the money to upgrade the dog parks like this one. The area is astroturf throughout the dog areas, has plenty of shade and seating, several water fountains, doggie supplies, and a bin of usable toys for all friends who visit. Clermont! Please upgrade the Hiawatha Preserve dog park! We will definitely return to this Minneola park often. ;-)
I have two dogs, one under 35lbs and over 50. They both love being in park together. I hope it stays that way. Some people want to separate the dogs. That would be unfair to the dogs and the owners of 2 or more dogs.
My puppy enjoyed the bark park. Multiple other dogs large and small were in the same area. The artificial grass mat turf is kind of strange. Lots of toys and clean water available.
Generally the park is the cleanest I've ever been and it seems all dogs get along
Great dog park, artificial turf, so no sandy soil. Other owners are friendly and so are there dogs!
