I am so impressed with this place. Our dog Rex was very sick from throwing up and became dehydrated. When I called Robin was absolutely wonderful on the phone. She was so kind and told us to come at that particular time cuz it was quiet and would be better for all of us. When we walked in the door her compassion and helpfulness continued. Everyone from the doctors to the techs to the front desk were amazing. Rex had to spend the night and they kept us updated regularly. I love the fact that they sent us a picture when he was feeling better. The office is clean and the atmosphere is so welcoming! I highly recommend them. We r so blessed to have a place like this in Oviedo.
They saved our Old English Sheepdog’s life! She had Pyometra, was borderline septic and had low platelets. No matter where you go it’s going to be scary in an emergency with your beloved pet and it will be expensive. The staff here is not burnt out and if they are they don’t show it to the patients at least and the care and skill is top. As long as time permits I will always make the drive to come here if we ever need emergency help again or critical care! “Thank you” doesn’t even cover how grateful we are! These pics are from immediately after we brought her home, she is recovering well!

I can only say good things about this place. Our senior lab has a very large mass growing on her ear and it had recently started bleeding and then she nipped at it, causing it to heavily bleed. We had poorly treated it, so we brought her in and they instantly rushed to the door to help us. The vet we usually go to was closed that day, which brought us here. It’s always scary coming to a new place, especially for our beloved animals. We’ve been wanting to have surgery but needed blood work done. The night prior to coming my brother and I had brought Gracie to a different ( won’t name them ) emergency vet because we were afraid it had become infected; that place wasn’t any help at all. The next day, we came here. They wrapped and cleaned her mass and were just so, so kind to Gracie ( she even took a nap while we waited for some results, she was very comfortable here). The entire staff is incredibly helpful. My brother and I asked at least 50 questions during the time we were there getting her blood work done and they answered any and everything, would constantly give us time to decide on the next path and etc. Not pushy whatsoever. We’ve scheduled a surgery with them and I’ve been so, so anxious about doing so— Gracie is twelve and is a chunky girl, but they’ve really squashed any of our fears. They answer all the questions you have, and today I’ve even called twice to ask more questions. They’re very patient. I can’t recommend this place enough. They truly care.
Today we brought both our huge Newfoundlands to Oviedo Veterinary Care and Emergency for their annual wellness check. One will be 11 in 2 weeks and the other 6 in 2 weeks. We could not bring both at once as we are senior citizens. In the morning we were met with Devon(?) a tech who was kind, professional, and up front with us. When we thought we were finished and put our dog back in the car he was very apologetic when he asked us to bring him back for his ear wash. I could tell how sorry he was and it was no big deal, and of course, my dog loved him. In the afternoon, we were met by Christina. So kind and friendly and the bigger and younger Newf was attracted to her and she enjoyed how my dog lavished her with licks and drool without complaint. She kept him calm throughout the exam and treatments and we were so appreciative. She gave us tricks about how to collect urine samples with a big dog as well as other useful and practical advice. My daughter is a veterinarian up north and i know first hand how hard veterinarians work and especially the techs. To have 2 techs who seem to enjoy their work and their interaction with both the patient and the client was refreshing. They both patiently answered all our questions as well. Let me say we are so glad we switched to Oviedo Veterinary Care about a year ago. Our experiences have been nothing but great.!! If i had one criticism and it's a very small issue, I wish they would publicize the names and credentials of their physicians. This is probably a personal issue because, as a physician myself, that's the first thing I look for when researching a physician for my human family and am in that habit when looking for a physician for my furry family as well. Continuity of care thing. To summarize I highly recommend this practice.
