The attention from these people is INCREDIBLE! They have been taking care of my Frenchie since she was a baby, always showing so much patience and dedication. They help me create a schedule that works for me and fits around my job, which has been a huge help since we're going through a vaccination process due to her allergies. Without a doubt, this is the best place!
Horrible experience with the grooming services. Jagged, uneven, choppy cuts. Asked for a schnauzer cut and received a poorly executed shave. Do not let the groomer Philip touch your dog’s hair. He rushed the grooming and didn’t bother following through with our clearly stated requests—a simple schnauzer cut for both of our miniature schnauzers. If Philip has experience, it definitely does not show. The absolute worst groomer I’ve ever had the displeasure of utilizing. I would highly suggest Royal Pets address this issue to ensure Philip and/or other staff do not repeat his inexcusable mistakes. His work is sloppy and he obviously does not take pride in his work. Royal Pets should never have allowed this to happen. I was told the manager Shirley would call to discuss the issue, but never received a call. We will not be returning.
stop supporting this business, they owe a lot of employees, customers, & vendors money. i still can’t believe the amount of people that continue to shop here, they do not even give you half the services you pay for. if you’re looking for high quality market services, check out the hounds meow for food and other things- for daycare, there are many other options you can look at that are much more affordable. i myself have worked here for quite sometime, and i know how things operate behind the scenes it isn’t as extraordinary as it’s made out to be.
I used to bring my dog here for about a year. The last time durring thanksgiving they accidentally let the dog get out of the cage. I got a call that my dog bit a staff member and I neeeded to pick him up immediately. After learning more about the incident from another staff member I was annoyed. They let him escape the cage then chased him around the room which obviously made him anxious. My dog is very friendly and has never gotten violent with anyone. This was their fault and blamed me ! Now I take my dog to the wagging club behind the fresh market on Dale Mabry 5 minutes down the road. Staff actually seem to love the animals and enjoy their job. I highly recommend that place. They play with the dogs multiple times a day. Even individually if the dog isn’t fixed. Give it a try ! ! !
I showed the groomer a picture of how short I wanted my dog's hair cut, but they kept saying, "I can shape her up." I repeatedly told them several times I wanted her hair cut short, and they assured me they understood. However, when I picked up my dog, her hair was the same length all over, except for her legs and butt, which were patchy and uneven. This is the second time coming here and my first experience wasn’t the best but since it was a different groomer I gave it another chance. I won’t be giving it a 3rd chance especially with how much we pay just to have them not do what we ask.
