I don’t leave reviews, but I had to today because I was so upset from hearing multiple dogs howling and crying non-stop for 30 minutes. I was sitting in the Nextdoor Burlington parking lot, waiting for a family member to finish shopping. Something needs to be done about this. It’s not right!! Who knows how long they will be crying and sitting there for. I saw a worker walk past the door so I know they can hear the crying. Fix this! It sounds like they might be sleeping in these small sheds because the noise sounds very close.

The store is nice and clean, But there's nothing on the shelves. Limited supply of treats, bones, etc. Staff says they changed distributors, its been 4 weeks now. If it's a distributor issue then they should switch back. Petsmart down the road has no problems and ALL the products that apparently your store can't get. It's obviously not a supply chain issue. Check for yourself. Thanks

Prior to a couple weeks ago I would have rated this place very high. However I am extremely disappointed in the unprofessional way they handled closing the St. Pete location. At this point I'd rate them zero stars and call them scam artists. They sold me a 10 day daycare package for over $300 in mid February and disclosed they would be closing the store February 29th. The next day I attempted to take my dog they had a sign on the door saying they were temporarily closed for the morning. They never opened again, never contacted anyone, and despite my calling and visiting other locations and leaving messages asking for a refund, I've received nothing. No contact, no response, no refund. I talked to many others who were treated the same. Seems like they quickly took money for services not provided and rather than refund, they are going ghost. Either I get a refund soon or I am getting a lawyer involved and asking for not only a refund of what I paid but compensation for days missed from work because they closed unannounced. I will also tell everyone I encounter not to trust these people with your pets. If this is how they do business, one can only assume they cut corners with pet care too.

The store portion is very nice and has a wide selection with prices on par with every other pet store and friendly employees. The boarding/grooming is a completely different story. Very displeased with service. I needed to have boarding for my SDiT due to having a medical operation (100% disabled combat veteran). The cost of everything is fairly high at $200 for just one night and a bath, but I thought it was worth it to know she was taken care of while I was in the operating room and recovery. I was recommended the upgraded room and agreed since she would have more room, be able to go outside, and have cameras. Upon arriving, I was told the cameras are being removed and they take pictures instead and send to you. Phone number was verified and yet I never received anything. The upgraded room also allowed outside access but she wasn't able to go outside due to raining. I opted to have her get a bath as well and paid the extra to have the de-shedding performed. So I paid for the upgraded room/service and received basic room services. As far as the bath, I do not at all believe it was performed. You can always smell when a dog has a bath, especially when they haven't in a little bit or have gotten dirty. She still smelt like she had the day before and my son had to give her a bath after we picked her up. She also did not have de-shedding performed (was even more obvious during the bath my son gave her). Her ears were still visibly dirty and you could pull out dirt by just running your finger in them. The only thing they seemingly did do was clip her nails and but was done poorly and left jagged. Will not return or ever recommend if this is how pets, and owners are treated. Only reason I gave 3 stars is because of the store portion, otherwise would have given 1 star.

Royal Pets in Palm Harbor, Florida, is an absolute nightmare of a pet store. The owner, Denise Wolin, is a scam artist who has no regard for her employees or the well-being of the pets in her care. Not only does she fail to pay her employees, but she also deceitfully deducts funds for health insurance without providing any actual insurance coverage. To make matters worse, all of her stores are now facing eviction and closure, leaving many pets abandoned and in need of rescue. It's clear that Denise Wolin prioritizes her own greed over the safety and welfare of animals. Avoid this establishment at all costs and save your pets from the neglect and mistreatment they would undoubtedly face here. Disgusting!
