I’ve had a great experience with seven oaks. Staff and doctors are very helpful and I’m happy that they look over my baby so well during check ups and get her the things she needs to be at her best

I usually don’t do reviews but this vet has signs up begging for 5 star reviews all over the place. Let me start off by saying this is my first experience with this vet and I will not be returning. I tried this one because it is very close to my house. I brought my 2 year old cat in for an examination due to some heavy over cleaning. I knew the visit could lead to sedation and bloodwork because of how healthy he seems otherwise. The quote for the sedation and exams was around $500 which is absurd but I paid it because I wanted to cover all the bases. After 4 hours I received a call to pick him up. After waiting 45 minutes in a room the doctor came in and did a great job answering all of my questions, (this is why they received any stars) but overall there was no diagnosis made. I was told it could be a couple different things and to do some tests with different foods at home basically. They also couldn’t get a urine sample so they sent me home with a $75 URINE SAMPLE KIT. I was annoyed but just wanted to get out of there and get my poor cat home. But the story does t end there. After the doctor left I started talking to my cat and realized he smelled horrible. Not until I asked the vet assistant why, she told me that he pooped all over his crate and “he was tired with them” at this point so they threw a pee pad in the crate and called it a day. Not only was he traumatized by the people at the vet all day but I had to traumatize him again by giving him a complete bath before he could even get comfortable in his home. I do think these people care about animals and probably have done amazing things for other families. This was just my personal experience.

Unfortunately very unprofessional and seem to only care about money. My pup had a URI and the original estimate was about $500. Once the Doctor found out we had pet insurance the estimate went to $1200. As someone who works in the animal field I didn’t find every line item on the estimate necessary. I asked if we could hold back on a few unnecessary things and she then came back with an estimate of EUTHANASIA !!!! For my otherwise healthy less than a year old dog. She said that she wouldn’t judge if we wanted to euthanize other than do the testing etc. I told her money was not an issue I just didn’t find everything necessary. I told them to do the $1200 worth of work. When I was able to pick up my dog the vet said they had to hold him down and force his testing on him and that he was a terrible dog. I was very offended. My dog has never given anyone problems and most likely was acting like this bc he was not feeling well. I apologized for his behavior and left. I found everything extremely inappropriate. On the invoice I have the notes even say “Owner declined euthanasia despite not wanting testing” 2 stars bc the girl who was the tech was so sweet and supportive.

My 1 year old dauschund had an allergic reaction, and I didn't know where to take him, I called in and they were quick to take my information and asked me to come in, once we got there they were already expecting me and took the baby in to check his vitals and the doctor came out to explain everything in detail she was genuinely interested and showed empathy in everything she did. We were ready to go home with our baby in an hour. Extremely thankful and relieved for their assistance and how nice they were to Sonic.

Love this vet! I came in and they immediately checked me in for my appointment and got my cat and I in a room. All the staff was friendly and the nurse and doctor were wonderful . They addressed all my concerns and were very caring and gentle with my fur baby at all stages during the exam and vaccination. 10/10 recommend
