Called Sierra because I had just moved to the area and my golden retriever was super sick. They saw us within the hour and were quickly able to diagnose and treat her for pancreatitis. I am so grateful to the whole team there for loving on my girl so well and helping her to get batter quickly! Happy to have found my new vet!

i recently visited thinking my cat was just sick, however it was revealed that she was suffering from a lot more and was putting on a brave face. we, unexpectedly, had to make the difficult decision to put her down. not only were the vets/techs very informative and professional, but also extremely friendly and empathetic. they assured us that it was the right thing to do and helped us feel very confident in our decision to not let her suffering to continue any longer. while i am still struggling with the fact that she is no longer with us, i know it would have been a lot worse had i not had a knowledgeable support system such as the staff at sierra animal hospital. not only did they provide the best care possible for our pet, but they also worked with me on the billing to set me a bit more at ease, as well as reach out a little while after the matter with their very much appreciated condolences. we chose to privately cremate her and her ashes came in the most beautiful packaging, along with very touching cards and other additions. truly a comforting establishment in the time of a harrowing experience. from the personable staff to the immaculate office space, this is truly the best place to take ur animal family members. Best choice ever to move our pup here. He loves it and so do we. Super nice, knowledgeable and saving me money to buy more treats.

It’s been a struggle to find a vet since moving here but beyond grateful to find Sierra Animal Hospital. We have 4 dogs with a range of personalities and we have so much appreciate for all of the staff and how much they help. Dr. Martin has been exceptional in not only her care but her attention to detail, thinking outside of the box, compassion for animals (and the owners). The front desk and assistants are wonderful and there for whatever you need. The clinic itself is capable of handling everyday needs and serious issues that arise. We won’t be going anywhere else and I’m thankful to have my dogs under top notch care.

Follow Up on my last review; This veterinary office lacks professionalism from the top down. If you have an urgent matter, they stand by a review time of 24-48 hours to even look at your needs. My complaint was on 12/11 and the office manager, Cymri, said I would get a call back the next day. Upon looking at my call log, I had a missed call at 4:50 pm the following day, but no voicemail. They called again on 12/16 with no voicemail. This office opened my complaint email 17 TIMES, (see attached) but couldn't respond once? They couldn't send an email saying we tried to reach you? It took you 6 days to write up a lame excuse on why you wouldn't help me get medication for my established pet who had diarrhea due to being overfed wet dog food? LOL. Know this.. If you have an urgent or non urgent matter, you will be ignored, because they have a "24-48 hour time period to respond to a need"... Or in this case, they have a week to respond.. Take your pets somewhere else, because when they need care at an important time, you don't want to rely on this kind of behavior ____________________________________________________________ Brandy (tall red head) at Sierra Animal Hospital is a horrible employee and individual. My dog was just seen yesterday. I called this morning as they have horrible diarrhea due to being overfed wet food from their dog sitter. I called at 830 am and the person on the phone was nice and told me they could help and talk to dr to get prescription for pickup. At 1045, I called to follow up and got Brandy. Brandy explained they have 24-48 hours to respond and maybe they'd get to it in the afternoon. I said I would stop in to talk to vet. I went to location and again encountered Brandy. She stated no one could talk to vet to get prescription in between appointments. I said I would wait in waiting room to talk to vet. I was quiet and scrolling through Facebook. Brandy threatened to call the cops on me because yesterday there was a hostile individual arguing. My wild hunch is Brandy caused the person to become hostile as she was definitely the aggressor with me. As an established patient who just saw the Dr yesterday, I should be able to get medicine to pick up for being overfed wet food. When I said I would leave a negative review and she shouldn't be working there, she told me to "bring it". I had great experiences prior to Brady. Get rid of a problem employee as this is the worst experience as a pet parent.
