I brought my cat, Leloh in for a dental and mass removal a couple months ago. The staff and vets were wonderful and put my anxiety at ease when scheduling a surgery. During our visit my favorite part was when Dr. Bodnar said “Are you sure this cat is 14? I would have guessed he was about 7”. We went ahead with the surgery and Leloh healed up very nicely. The office called to check on him and see how he was doing and I could tell they really cared, especially Shannon. A little more than a week ago, I woke up and went to his room to feed him his breakfast and found that he had very unexpectedly passed away on the ground. While I was an absolute wreck, my partner asked, “What should I do?” And I immediately replied “Call Sunshine”. They did not make us wait for an appointment and had us bring him in right away. Dr, Bodnar was not in that day but Dr. Mark came into the exam room and answered any questions we might have had about what happened. He assured me that Leloh looked to be in great health and that sometimes these things just happen at no one’s fault. Days later I received a card with a note from Dr. Mark reminding me of exactly what I needed to hear. That it’s nothing I did and I cared for him the best I possibly could. He is in peace forever now. Thank you, Sunshine Animal Hospital for everything. ♥️
I had the absolute worst experience and I will not be taking my Ragdolls back. I’ve never seen my cats so scared and miserable for a routine visit. They took them in another room where there were dogs and I could hear them crying and screaming from the room I was in. I have two older Ragdolls and all of them are super chill and loving. There’s just no reason to have such a horrible visit.
They were very warm and inviting. They spoke to my dog as I would speak to her! They explain each step of the treatment that was done! I would recommend this to anyone! We are second generation here. My sister had her dog Mac & they took very good care of them 🙏🏾❤️🐾
First experience with Sunshine Tampa. Nice facility, clean and well organized. Pleasant techs and vets. Glad to find a reliable vet nearby. She was recommended by a neighbor who also sits for Rover.com.
My little Bobbi was having a hard time to breathe and the office kept him with them all day and gave him the meds to help him feel better - he had to go back the next day for one more medication and that was the ticket he is doing so much better!! EVERYONE there understood how much he means to his family and were sooooo nice and caring as they always are!!! Thank you to all of you once again! Especially Dr. Twila always the best with my pets!!!!
