I can’t express in words what this Veterinarian practice did for us this past friday. We brought our beloved 14 year-old boxer Shirley who had deteriorated rapidly in the last few months and we had to say good bye. Doctor Tori Rhoads and her vet team had a sensible and professional approach to the situation making the experience more manageable and easier to swallow. Thank you Doctor and team, we will always remember what you did, you earned a place in our hearts.
Unparalleled customer service! Yesterday my 1 year old puppy started showing some alarming behavior and the team at West Park Animal Hospital got me in quickly! My dog, Nattie, adores everyone there and has been going since she was 8 weeks old. She loves them so much that when she was completely not herself yesterday she continued to wag her tail and love on the team. Not only did they work me in to their full schedule, they stayed after closing ensuring we ran tests and got the care we needed. Nattie ended up needing to be transferred for overnight observation and Dr. Churchill personally called hospitals, discussed findings, and inquired as to whether or not they had the right equipment for my pup’s anticipated needs. This isn’t the first time they’ve gone above and beyond but after yesterday I needed to share. Everyone on this team is truly remarkable and I Nattie and I couldn’t be more thankful!
I have 3 animals that are anxious when they are at the vet. They all need health certificates and random other tests so they can prepare for a move to South Korea. The people at West Park have such a great bedside manner for my fur kids. By the end they were all eating from their hands. They also helped me make sure to get all of the appropriate paperwork done for travel. I would have been lost without them.
My dog’s first visit for his terrible seasonal allergies and what turns out was two pinpoint corneal tears, was all that I had hoped for, and less than a mile from my home. I felt like this was the perfect practice for my dog from the minute I made the call to make the appointment with Summer, who literally had me at hello lol, so kind and calming. She acted like she had all day to just focus on me and my dogs needs. Tyson did NOT have to wait in the lobby for more than a few minutes which was a wonderful change from his previous vet where he would wait an hour on occasion. The vet and vet tech were amazing with my dog and one of the biggest things that stood out to me was them being conscious of cost and not assuming that I have a bottomless wallet; which again, my previous vet had no concern for. Thank you for an amazing experience, top notch medical care and compassion, and for letting me know what all of my alternatives were in regards to cost while still getting the same end result. We are excited to go back next week for a follow up. Thank you! 💛🐾
Having recently moved to the area from North of Tampa I was in search of a new Veterinarian practice. I had been with my previous Vet for close to 17 years so it was a little nerve racking to say the least, especially due to the COVID-19 protocols. I came across reviews for West Park Animal Hospital and felt comfortable giving them a chance. I'd like to also add they allow you in with your fur-baby, following safe Covid practices, which helped to ease the anxiety. The reviews I read were all spot on. From my first initial call, Allison, extended a warm greeting with a caring voice. Walking in for the first time, and second now, relieved all concerns, nice clean practice, warm cozy patient rooms, they even ask if you'd like a soda or water! Hannah and Dr. Hyde made me feel right at home. I am pawsitively happy I found them.
