Whether wellness check, emergency or end of life care, grooming or boarding this place always gives 100%. The staff is caring and compassionate. Dr. Andy Dunn is the kindest animal loving vet I’ve ever known (and I’ve known many nation wide). He’ll make you and your pet feel comfortable and relaxed. Five stars for WestLake isn’t near enough.
I have been taking my dogs to WestLake for over 15 years. I “inherited “ an elderly cat not too long ago and last week she started some very different behaviors. I called West Lake and they got her in that day. She was diagnosed with kidney disease after a review of her lab work. A few days later we were back to the vet, she was not eating and you could see she was not feeling well at all. The plan of care continued with a next stage focus. Within 24 hours she was feeling better. She was eating her prescription diet, using her litter box and “talking” as usual. The veterinarians have always explained everything so well. I feel my pets get excellent compassionate care there at a reasonable cost and I will not go anywhere else.
This is the most caring veterinarian office I have ever been. My family also takes their pets there for veterinary issues and also boarding. They are all Great . My dogs don’t even mind going. Very attentive staff. Thanks for all they do…
I was very impressed with Westlake Animal Hospital! Everyone was so compassionate, loving, and professional. Dr. Waterman thoroughly examined my fur baby (Great Dane puppy), explained everything clearly, and answered any questions I had about her procedure (spay and gastropexy). When she was having surgery and recovering, they kept me informed. When I called to check in on her, the nurse was friendly, informative, and reassuring. Molly was well cared for! I thank you Dr. Waterman and your staff for taking care of Molly :)
Dr Haskell is an excellent surgeon, which is hard to find for a 4 lb dog. He did her knee for her flexstating patella when she was 5 years old. She's now 13 years old and is still doing great. The whole staff are very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place
